I was not expecting to love these socks. I bought them as a treat and because I am perpetually looking for quality merino wool clothing and undergarments. I am very happy with this pair. They are super thin which is important to me as I suffer from neuropathy in my right foot. I am one of those people that must wear socks even with sandals otherwise I get blisters. I am switched to minimal style shoes and still need a good quality sock to stop blisters and keep my feet in a state where they are being uniformly covered with no pinching or folding, especially when I have to put my foot into my shoe. A lot of socks fail here. There is where most socks begin to tug and pull at me neuropathic toes making it almost impossible to have my toes wiggle free. Falke does not have this problem. They are super. Very thin and smooth to insert into modern shoes that often don’t have laces or have elasticated foodbed entry like many Vivobarefoot shoes. I will be purchasing one in the basic colors of black, grey and white. These are perfect for me. They stay up and are true knee high. I would gladly have 3 pairs of socks in my sock drawer from falke than lots of others that never work. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. WOW! ORDER YOURSELF A PAIR ASAP. The socks are absolutely elegant feeling against your skin and all around fantastic. The top woven elastic area is not binding at all. The pressure is perfect and does not cut into your skin. The weave itself is pretty thin like a thick opaque stocking but amazingly warm. I will not want to take these off. ... show more

These socks are warm & comfortable, and 100% pure wool. I forgot, put them in the dryer, and they shrunk! The Tags the socks are attached to even say "Do Not Put In Dryer" so it's my fault. They stretch a little even after shrinking so I can wear them but they are snug now. Wonderful socks, just, hang up to dry, do NOT put them in the dryer! ... show more

These are beautiful soft dressier socks made of fine wool. If you take care of them -- cold wash, dry them damp and hang to finish drying -- they should last a long time. Worth the price for me.

They're warm, they keep their stretchiness, and you don't have to wash them every single day. They are about as perfect as they can be. Thin like trouser socks but warm with wool.
