When i purchased this amazon had a warning about "frequent returns." Let me tell you, to not buy this. I normally dont leave many reviews but i want to warn everyone. I bought this drone because my wife had bought our son a drone and i had accidently crash landed it into our pool. I figured its on the cheaper side of drones and if my son destroys it i wouldnt be to upset. It came in the mail today while he was at school so I thought I could be the cool dad and open it up and have it all charged for him. When I opened it, I noticed it wasnt in a box, or sealed packaging, but a carrying case. I continued on and opened the case to find the drone had scuffs and plastic already removed. I decided to charge the battery since my kid wouldnt care and just want to fly it. I read the instructions and went to go do a test flight. Upon using the controls and trying to take off. I noticed that one of the propellers (labelled B) wouldnt spin. I tested all the other propellers and noticed they spin freely and loosely. B propeller? absolutely not, the gears grind and dont spin. I would take it apart and inspect it but I dont want the hassle of dealing with them saying i ruined it taking it apart. I logged on to amazon to do a return label and figured i would warn everyone else. ... show more

The battery life is great, and it even came with extra rechargeable batteries, which means I can enjoy longer flying sessions without having to wait around for charging. spent all my time trying to get it to hover. Software to link to phone is an ad laden joke. Trim is terrible Example, start up and lift takes off flying straight not hovering click the button almost to a hover, one more click and 20 kph backwards...try to get that out and it then goes right. maybe it needs to be calibrated. OK how do I do that. NOTHING I CAN FIND SAYS HOW overall a waste of money...get a brand that can hover and maybe even home. ... show more

    • For me, thi was a good drone purchase
I am not a kid, nor am I great at this higher tech kind of stuff. My kids had a few RC cars 'n stuff when they were younger, but all my kids are grown and have kids of their own. Now THIER kids are great at drones and all kinds of newer tech. I say this because all I was looking for was a drone not too expensive, but that I could take it to the park to learn how to fly it and then use it to go up above my house and look around in a bird's eye view. My area is located about an eighth of a mile (as a crow flies) to a very large lake and behind my house (and the other houses in my area) is a "wild" area owned by the Army Corps of Engineers that is "egress" for them should there ever be an issue with or at the lake. That's why I thought it woiuld be cool to have a drone that could fly up high enough to see the lake and to look down on the wild area - maybe catch sight of deer herds, wild boars (yes there are some back there!), coyotes and one or two bobcats my neighbors have sighed just at the border to the wooded area. This drone has performed well for me - again I am not some whiz with stuff, but this one was easy for me to learn on and the camera was decent for what I wanted. For the price, I like this drone and it does what I need it to do (not break under my fumbling fingers when flying it and landing it) and to give me aerial views that are a reasonable resolution. ... show more
