I was happy with these lights the first time I ordered them. So I figured it was safe to order again and now am very disappointed. I got 16 for a shop building and I have 4 that will blink occasionally and 1 that has a 1 foot dead spot. I have tried several times to contact the company with no response. Since I have them installed I don't want to take them back down to return, I am only asking for the parts to repair. I am willing to replace them myself, just need the parts and I get no response. I put them up for someone else and now he's not happy and I'm stuck. If it was mine I wouldn't be as concerned. The 1 star is for the lack of customer service and quality control, not so much for the way the lights look. They are nice and sleek and put out a great amount of light. I don't like it when people rate the product to reflect their feelings about the service, but I don't have much choice and hope this will get their attention so I will get a response. That's really all I want. If their customer service had replied and we worked something out I would have given this 5 stars. I understand things happen and not everything works perfectly but don't just ignore someone who is asking for help. Update: Now that I got someone's attention I got the help I needed. The person who contacted me was more than happy to send me some new drivers and actually sent me a whole light so I could get the led strip I needed to replace the one that had a dead spot. Apparently they can't get the led strip as a spare part. Anyway now the customer is happy which is what I needed to start with. A shame that I had to write a bad review to get help, So I am updating the rating, but only to 4 stars.

Since I read many reviews that mentioned the lights being damaged in shipping, I thought I would just mention that mine were received (via USPS no less!) in working condition and without any cosmetic damage. Note that the Instruction Manual recommends connecting only 3 lights in series. This is a bit disappointing since they come in a pack of 4. I believe the reason for this recommendation is that the lights are connected by 18 AWG lamp cord, which is considered "light duty": 7 Amps or less and runs of up to 25ft. These lights don't pull many amps (approx. 1 amp/light on a 110V circuit) but since they are 8' long and have 5' extension cords, by the time you connect 4 of them, the total length of the run is about 4*13 = 52 ft. which exceeds the recommended length by quite a bit. Other reviewers have mentioned connecting all 4 lights in series without issue, so I guess this depends on your own personal tolerance for risk.

I bought this light to replace a 25+ years old dual fluorescent 8' shop light. I was concerned this 8' LED replacement will not be able to put out the number of lumens and color temperature of the old light, but I was pleasantly surprised. Here is what I love about this light: 1. It is lightweight and very easy to handle and install 2. Comes with flush or suspension mounting hardware - (I am using suspension) 3. Comes with a power cord installed so no additional wiring is needed 4. Gives off plenty of LUMENS and the color is very close to "DAY LIGHT"-(feels brighter than my old fluorescent tubes) 5. It is DIMMABLE - I use a LEVITON DECORA dimmer and can control it down to 10% setting I recommend this light as a replacement for the old power hungry fluorescent lights!

I ordered two of these to replace two 4' fluorescent overhead fixtures that failed. I hired an electrician to install them, and in fact had consulted with him before ordering these. (he noted he had not enjoyed good experiences with any of the 8' LED fixtures offered at Home Depot.) Anyway, installation went okay (these fixtures are narrower than typical ceiling octagonal boxes, btw.) but afterwards one light immediately began flickering, where half the LED strip would cut off then restart; work fine for a while, then the other half would flicker. The second light began to do the same, but thankfully not very often. This does NOT inspire me for potential longevity. And I've waited for 3 weeks to write this review in hopes the flickering would go away--it has not; but at least it's not increased. And, like almost every other fixture I looked at, these do not have bulbs you replace when one fails; instead these are "integrated" units, which means you replace the whole fixture. Sorry, manufacturers why is this a good idea? Making work for electricians? Don't get me wrong, I think LEDs are great, but this application of them I find unimpressive.

I bought the 4 light package. It arrived in an engineered packing box that was unreal. Lights were in perfect condition but they were packed to take a real rough ride if needed . Quality is top notch . These are the best i've ever had and you haven't seen bright till you see these . I will buy some more soon.. Well worth the money.
