I use self heating eye masks all the time. This is the first time using this brand. Unfortunately I would NOT recommend them. They do NOT provide the heat needed for dry eyes and certainly don’t provide any moisture heat.

I wash my hands, lean back, put on the mask, and let the soothing heat do the hard lifting while I listen to music or simply breathe. This is what I do after I complete my job or when my eyes start to feel tight from staring at a screen. The fact that it turns on by itself and gradually increases its intensity rather than striking all at once is something that I really like since unexpected heat in the vicinity of my eyes would be disturbing. Once it has settled in, it maintains a comfortable temperature for a sufficient amount of time for a genuine break, and it gradually cools down, making the transition back to whatever it is that I am doing seem seamless. The most significant advantage for me is the ease with which it enables me to alter gears. In situations when I am focused, I have a tendency to carry stress in my face, and the consistent warmth serves as a strong indication that the task is over. My eyes feel less tight and less concerned by that weary, scratchy sensation that may sometimes be caused by dry air, contact lenses, or gazing without blinking sufficiently. After a session, my eyes feel less tight and less bothered by this feeling. It is not a spectacular alteration, but it is dependable, and the fact that it is consistent is what makes it helpful rather than gimmicky. After a lengthy wait at the gate and an excessive amount of time spent on my phone, I utilized one on a flight. The fact that I could use it without having to search for a source of heat made the trip more pleasant, and it provided me with the opportunity to sleep for a portion of the journey rather than gazing at a screen. Due to the fact that it made calming down seem more planned rather than incidental, it was equally effective on hotel evenings after a day that was full of activities.
