I have never had a lot of trouble with my skin besides the occasional breakout. Now that I am in my mid-late thirties my skin has been changing noticeably and I have been having a lot of trouble with redness, dryness, blotchiness, and pimples. No matter what kind of cream or lotion I use I break out terribly after using it. When I came across this I decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. The first time I used it I definitely used too much. I also noticed the fragrance was sort of like old rose petals which I did not find appealing. However, the smell goes away quickly after application and is not very potent. I’ve been using this oil for a couple weeks. Now I use 2 drops for my face and one for my neck which seems to be just enough. Within a few days I noticed a difference in my skin. It is softer and smoother and more evenly toned. There is less redness and it doesn’t make me break out like the lotions I have been using. That isn’t to say that I haven’t had ANY pimples but there have been far fewer to none. I have noticed that not all of the oil seems to get absorbed, so I might start using even less. Overall I am very happy with this face oil and I will continue to use it daily. ... show more

When I first opened the bottle, my first thought was , this really Smells! But after it is applied, the smell goes away. So for just a few minutes, I can definitely tolerate the smell. My skin is very sensitive to change and this product caused no reaction. Upon first applying, you will think, it is really oily. But give it a few minutes and it will absorb. No oily skin. From the very first day of use, I noticed a big change in my skin. The small wrinkles around my eyes were almost completely gone! I have used lots of different eye products, some very expensive, and none have worked like this! It is amazing. My skin radiates all day. I receive lots of compliments on my skin. I have bought several bottles of this oil--it is one of my favorites. It is thicker than some of the other brands, which is great for my dry skin. However I noticed with my most recent bottle that the rosehip smell is overpowering. I am wondering if this is a change in formula or if I just got a batch that was strong. When applied directly to face, it looks oily. I didn't read the instructions until after a few uses, when applied correctly I love it. I apply a few drops in my plams, instead of my fingertips, and rub my hands together to warm the oil and spread it out. Afterwards I press my palms into my face to apply and lightly massage it into the skin before moisturizing. I've recently changed my entire face care routine so it's hard to say what products exactly are helping my completion but with this included in my routine, my skin has never been softer and clearer. The container it comes in is glass, with a glass dropper. I think it gives it a higher quality look that I enjoy. Instead of a squeeze dropper, there is a button of sorts at the top. It is only half an ounce of product, but because you only use a few drops at a time (that's all you'll need) it lasts a while. I've had mine a few weeks, I use it twice a day, and I have only used about 1/8th of the bottle. It has a soft rose scent that is in no way overbearing. ... show more

Love this product! The scent is very clean! I love the way it smells. I use 8 drops and massage it into my face. Feels very refreshing. Being a woman in my mid fifties, I do try to take care of my skin on a low maintenance level. This product definitely helped with clearing up pesky nose blackheads due to large pores. It is not greasy even though it is an oily feeling product when applying. I massage this in and then apply Peeper Keeper around my eyes and mouth. My skin feels better than it has in years!
