I love the brush markers and just recently received it. But, I realized I ended up with 23 brush markers and 1 fine liner. Not completely upset still niece but just a little disappointed.

Pitt "Artist Pens" really are that - an artist pen. These are not kid's magic markers. The colors are beautiful and this 24 count box is a fairly comprehensive set, but there are also sets containing only grays (and they are gorgeous - from warm beigy grays to cool misty ones), and sets specifically for landscape and portrait, with more specific colors. The tip tapers to an elegantly fine point, and when used more heavily they approximate a #3 brush. One of their best features is that they do not dry out! If you keep the covers on they will last for years - I have had some for over 10. There is also a jumbo size marker in this line which is great for Sumi-e work. You cannot go wrong with any of the Pitt pens or sets - they are worth every penny and make terrific gifts for yourself or someone else. No, I am not paid by the company for this glowing review - I'm just an old artist who loves really fine materials and it's a pleasure to use these! ... show more

I was extremely disappointed with this purchase because this marker set—which was supposedly brand new—arrived with a marker that was completely dried out. Unfortunately, that color is one I would have used a lot. Seems like such a waste of money.

I needed markers that don’t bleed through Moleskine paper and these are perfect! The variety of colors in this set are good enough for me. The brush allows you to make variety of line widths so they are great for both detail work and coloring.

    • I do like these but I don't love them

I do like these but I don't love them. I find myself using many of my other art supplies before these. They are well made of course as they are Faber Castel but I'm not crazy about the brush tip on these and out of 24 colors I seem to have a hard time finding the color I need. They do bleed through on my adult coloring books and some feathering occurs. Yet I give them a 4 because they are beautifully boxed and nicely made. I keep thinking either I just need more colors or I will find the right thing to use them for. ... show more
