  • Visit TroyTube on Youtube for a great tutorial
I have had this press for 9 months now. I had difficulty with the hat attachment, but do not fault the equipment for that. It heats up quick and works well; I have not had issues with vinyl peeling or lifting and have used several different brands. Also, the strong smell goes away after a few uses. The beeping is annoying like other have mentioned, and my unit also came with no instructions. TroyTube has a great tutorial on Youtube that will teach you on how to swap the attachments, set the temp, and use the timer for this brand(mine was Zenny). If not for this video I would have likely given this product 3 stars, assuming I would have eventually figured out how to operate it. My only regret with this press was purchasing the bundle with attachments and not purchasing a 15X15 press. I feel like the unit was worth the price for a casual crafter like myself, and I have enjoyed it. ... show more

  • Inexpensive heat press which works great for the money
Easy setup while manual gives you a good laugh of the day :-).. works perfectly fine I just wish I had bought a bigger one. The wiring on the attachments look very vulnerable and probably are to handle with care! Unfortunately no manual in regards of pressure.. so that's a try and error.. heats up fast to the desired temperature... haven't measured the temperatures yet, but press results are great! I'd recommend to buy. ... show more

  • I LOVE it!
I have been using this awhile now. I LOVE it!! I did a ton of research before buy this one, and this one offered the most bang for the buck so to say. I did not have to set up a dedicated circuit breaker as my studio is already set up this way so you should probably check your circuit breaker panel and see what is all on that particular circuit breaker before using this. The only downside of this heat press, if you could call it that is that it is not a 15 x 15. However, it works beautifully and I absolutely love it. Highly recommended. OUTSTANDING!!!! ... show more

  • Over 50 shirts done in a week and more to come!
We have not used the mug or hat attachment yet, but have used the main unit quite a bit. The instructions rival a book written by a toddler in a foreign language then poorly translated into English. Some things are descriptive; however, general internet searching and video watching proved to be most helpful. This unit has been a great starter unit to get our business rolling. Pro: Ease of use once set up. Keeps temperature well. Adjustable pressure when closing on item to be heat pressed. Bottom platform item rests on to be heat pressed can be slid on tracks forward as well as heating element (top part) can swivel. This helps to alleviate accident burns from user while positioning or removing items. Cons: This unit is a heating unit, that clicks on and off to maintain the preset temperature. With that being said, this unit kept tripping the breaker in our house. We have a 20 amp breaker to the office. This unit proved too much to run in conjunction with the lights and a laptop plugged it. Since that happening twice, I ran a high amp extension cord from the office to a dedicated outlet in a nearby room. Overall: I would recommend this item to someone utilizing as a hobby or small business startup. ... show more

  • GREAT MACHINE
I have used every attachment for this press and haven't had an issue with any of them. I have to agree with other buyers that the instructions were not very helpful but after a simple youtube search i was able to figure it all out (ended up being pretty easy). I do not have a designated work area in my home and i often move the press to wherever i need to. I have gone up stairs, downstairs and in the garage with it. It is very easy to handle and not very heavy at all. The press heats up very fast and is very quiet, the clicking isn't a bother to me. If i heat the press to 400 it will click as it goes back and forth from 395-400 or so. I have placed this machine on my wooden floors, kitchen counters and plastic tables....the base doesnt get hot since the heating elements are on top. I love this machine, great buy! I will post some of my items. ... show more

  • Had a while still works great
I have had this press for over a year and its been great so far. I have had no issues with the heat and my sublimated shirts look great. I was very surprised it has lasted as long as it has, but won't complain

  • Barely usable in less than a year...
Not impressed with this item. The hat press has a very small area that is actually functional, and the flat platen also has a large edge zone that will not get hot enough to press correctly. The 11oz mug press is useless, but the 15oz press fits 11oz mugs nicely... meaning it barely fits 15oz mugs. I can squeeze a 15oz in but it feels like it might break and a full bleed is impossible as only part of the mug is actually inside the press. The frame is wobbly and my table is covered with black shavings from spinning the top out of the way. The timer sensor stopped working soon after I got it so I had to set the timer as high as possible and time it myself. Now the power switch stopped working so I have to unplug and plug it in to turn it off and on. I've only had this for less than a year and already I need a new one. Way too expensive for the number of issues I've had with this basically disposable item. Update: still less than a year and now it literally blew up, sparks flew, loud pop, and it won't work at all. Awesome. ... show more
