It must have been 50 feet up, and took no damage coming down. The battery lasted for a whole day while it was stuck up there. The media could not be loaded. Bought as Christmas present for my nine-year-old grandson. At first the motors wouldn't spin up more than a second, so was ready to send it back. As a last resort I installed new batteries in the remote. Voilà! In what I thought was a big front yard, I did the first test flight, and it flew around a giant tree, over the road and crashed in a field across the street lol Facts be known, it was TOTALLY out of control! I guess I missed that crucial flight training! So, looking for a bigger space, we drove about 10 miles away and found a grassy field between a school and a church. In 20° weather we froze, but had a grand time taking turns flying that little plane around, almost crash landing it on the church, crashing it into multiple trees. Surprisingly the tree crashes, and 20 or 30 rough landings in the field, and a couple in the parking lot, there was absolutely no damage. What a blast! I sent a couple videos to my friends, who vowed to get one for themselves :-) It made me wish I had one when I was a kid. My advice is to find a very big open space...even bigger than the field in my video. Enjoy! ... show more

It works great overall. It’s so lightweight that even a slight breeze can make it tricky to fly. The propeller blades tend to come off a bit easily, but it came with two extra sets—we’re already on the last one, so we’ll probably need to find where to buy more soon. My son loves flying the plane around at parks, and we usually pick spots with plenty of open space and no trees nearby. ... show more

First flight, nose piece broke clean off on not so easy landing. (This is. It the first plane this has happened to). patched with packing tape. My advise. Go ahead and wrap nose with tape before first take off. It actually balanced out plane and flew better.

What was delivered did not look like the listing photo at all. Upon use for just under a month, the motor has melted the styrofoam on the top of this plane, the landing gear wings pop off constantly (we glue-gunned them on), and the nose broke off on the 3rd flight. Super disappointing when this is all my son wanted for Christmas. Outlandish price for the horrible quality. ... show more

Was worried about purchasing this for my 8 1/2 year old grandson the first time but he learned how to fly it quickly and had a blast with it. His dad did too! I was impressed with how high and fast it flew and unfortunately the first one did get away from him and we lost it so I ordered him another one and he has learned how to kill the power and turn it around and bring it back if he feels like it’s going too far again. He’s getting better at landing it now too without crashing it. It holds up really well to crash landings though. It’s nice that it has two batteries and extra parts included. ... show more
