OK, so don't let the title mislead you, as far as time will tell, the reason I say that is I've never been a fan of using pressure per inch to anchor things to the wall. However, I will say it is a very ery easy mount to put up, you do not have to worry about finding studs, all the nails are included, a level is included, and it installs literally in 5 to 10 minutes and you're hanging up a 55 to maybe a 65 inch TV, although I'd probably stay around the 55 inch TV range. Basically, once you pick the spot of the TV you want to hang it, you put in your pilot nail and use the level to make sure you're straight and then you put the end nail in, so the mount doesn't move from there. All you have to do is nail the rest of it to the wall and you're good to go and to my surprise it was quite sturdy. Also, it's good to know in the future you have small nail holes to patch up versus maybe larger screw holes or sometimes you have to have spacers when going into studs, it will be an easy patch up using the nails via larger screws, I'm just throwing that in there that it's not a bad look at all. Now on the mounting side for the TV side, the lip is actually pretty decent. I do like the way the mount hinges, When I say hinges to the tv, let me be clear the tv does not move at all once mounted, it is stationary and flat and close to the wall. It's actually a nice look, they also include two spacers for the bottom portion of the tv to where it gives you a very close to the wall flat look at it's easy to take on and off the wall by lifting up and out. That said, please keep in mind you most definitely will have to so if you're I/O or your (inputs/outputs) are not on the side of the TV but actually behind the TV. So just keep that part in mind otherwise the mount is doing its job, and it looks really clean as long as you do some decent cable management, I think it's a decent product. Again, I was skeptical with using a stud less mount, but it does the job. I just wouldn't push it with weight or size. Also, just to note, at some point with the nail setup you'll probably hit a stud regardless because of the way studs are spaced so it is really rather secure to be honest. This is definitely something I would use if it's a smaller TV or even maybe monitors for a workstation. This is definitely a good way to go for the smaller sizes, for a living room flatscreen that are typically bigger, I would probably stop at 55 inches as I said. I think I'd like to stress that as you should not worry, just follow the directions and weight restrictions. In my opinion, 65 inches even though it would be in the acceptable weight range and could probably handle it, I just still wouldn't push it as the worst-case scenario would be your tv falls and rips off the wall with your drywall and you have a broken tv. Let me stress this should not and will not be an issue as long as you follow directions, but I want to be realistic with you. So just please follow the directions and the weight limits and size limits and act accordingly. If you do just that, this product does its job, it looks nice, it will hold up and you will be good to go! ... show more

    • Ended up using a normal mount
I wanted to go this route to avoid drilling into the wall but in the end I feel it’s the much sturdier and safer option. I’m sure this product is more than capable but I rather not test the limits nor risk my expensive equipment. Better safe than sorry.

    • Fantastic solution for hanging a TV
My apartment, like most, does not approve of those elaborate wall mounts for flat-screen TVs, and I really can't blame them, as they can easily wreck a wall. I had been resigned to never hanging my flatscreen because I hate those wall mounts even if the apartment management let me have them in every room. I always feel like theyre just about to dump your expensive TV on the floor for some reason. When I saw this, I grasped the genius behind it immediately. This is a brilliant solution. It's insanely easy to secure to the wall and even in drywall it spreads the load excellently, attaches securely, makes only small holes that are easily patched, and securely holds your flatscreen. For some reason, this little bar makes me feel better about hanging my flatscreen on the wall than any other wall mount apparatus I've ever seen. Now I have a TV console table with a ton of space on it because I was able to hang the TV on the wall right behind it, and the whole thing looks great. I love this thing. I'd give it as a gift to anyone who gets a new TV. Also great for dorm rooms and computer monitors.
