  • Great hard case
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 15m
I admit I was questionable about buying this because I have always ran Marcum or Aqua view cameras. But this thing is sweet. Only down side I see is battery life if fishing all day. But additional batteries are avaliable if you want one. The view is great and over all id give it 9 out of 10

  • Excellent Underwater Camera
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 15m
This camera captures clear underwater footage day or night, in clear and murky conditions. The camera housing and lens are substernal and tough. The carrying case is durable and the entire kit is extremely portable and the 9" video screen makes watching footage live or in playback mode easy for all. I have used the camera successfully to view fish activity, and to find personal items that were dropped and lost 30' deep at the bottom of the lake. I recommend the longer 50M camera cord. I thought the 30M length would plenty of depth but the camera is good enough to go deeper. without loosing video quality Great product and good purchase for the price. Also, I want to express a sincere thank you to Tina from Eyoyo Customer Service. Tina was responsive to my emails, answering product questions thoroughly, in a timely manner, and even followed up to confirm my satisfaction with the product. Great service! Thanks again. ... show more

  • Great Picture but Poor Infared
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 30m
I rated this at an overall rating of 4. 1) I am not wild about the design of having the cable come out the back of the camera. I think it would be better if it came out of the top in the balanced center. I will be using my camera for ice fishing and that would make it easier to suspend. I have been able to remedy the problem by just attaching a swivel to the top of the camera and running the line through it. 2) The infrared is decent, but not great. I bought another light to attach to the bottom of the camera and hopefully that will help. The light is manufactured by aquaview and is only another $20. The infrared adjusted on my camera is not worth a $%&(. It is either on or off. There is now adjusting it up and down. Any adjustment down just makes the camera turn off completely. To turn it off on mine I just disconnect the cable that powers the infrared. 3) I was favorably impressed by the case design. It looks like it will keep the monitor, the camera and the other components safe while I am dragging my gear around the lake. I don't know that it is waterproof, but it is certainly better than nothing. I suspect that I will have to open it when I get home from fishing to air out the compartment. There is always moisture left on the cable when it gets wound up and I can't believe that will be good for the other electronics. 4) The cable on this unit is much thinner than the cable I had on my ancient aquaview. I figure it is maybe 1/2 the diameter and strenth. All in all, I think that is a plus because it weighs less and takes up less room. 5) The record function on the camera is freaking awesome. It records an image way way way better than I thought I would be able to get. It can take snapshots or video. I bet I am goign to get some really great video of pike and walleye this year as they hammer my lure. That will go on facebook for sure. Hope my assessment helps in making your decision. ... show more

  • Wow, what a disappointment.
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 15m
The media could not be loaded. An insult to the underwater camera category. What a disappointing package. It comes with more stuff than there's spots for and you can only use the camera with the lid open so the angle is fixed and there's no place to store the foam insert or visor. Since the monitor is in the lid the angle of the screen is fixed and the best angle is if you're sitting on the ground/ice with the unit. There's just a bunch of messy wires jammed into the case. I thought I was disappointed in the Aqua-Vu package until I used this abomination. Would not recommend, not even good for a toy since the package to use it is so inconvenient. It's not portable because the monitor has to stay in the case but there's stuff that falls out of the case with the lid open. Overall, this thing is a joke and poor excuse for am underwater camera kit. Everything about it is cheap and poorly designed. From the string/cable loops to the bobber, to case, to the wiring. They could've at least used modern connectors instead of coaxial and an obsolete charging plug. This feels like it was a children's toy from the 90s but even stuff back then had style and function this is lacking. ... show more

  • Works as it should
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 15m
I am new to ice fishing and thought this would be a good tool to see if there are any fish below me. It does a very good job at showing the surroundings. Now I have to find some fish LOL. Seriously, this camera seems to do what it should and I have had no problem setting it up and using it,

  • Fun Fun Fun.....take fishing to a whole new level!
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 30m
The media could not be loaded. First off the camera is very simple to run and picture quality is good, only draw backs I seen with the product is that the camera cord is built to come out of the back which hangs the camera vertically if you use "as is". I ended up using 3 zip ties and looped it to the top mounts so it would hang horizontal. The other "drawback" is that some fish like to attack this camera which is fun as you can see by my clip when the camera shakes or spins. I am now ordering the tripod to fit above the ice hole and hold the cable because it is very difficult to line it up perfect on your bait as the cable has "life or coil" in it which causes it to not want to micro adjust with it just laying on the ice. I would suggest using this in an ice house where its dark for best results because its hard to see the screen outside with sun which is with any screen (example: phone) . I have only used this on a couple outings but I wanted to share some footage I took of some Pike while ice fishing in Montana. Its neat to see what those fish are doing down there and how they take or not take your bait. Hope you enjoy the clips and would suggest you get one of these for yourself and start the fun. Once you get several clips recorded you can use another program to put them together and share on whatever media you want. Also on another note: This is recorded in about 15 feet of water and can see fish out to 10 feet which is great for me. ... show more
