  • Great underwater camera!
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 15m
I am extremely pleased with my purchase of the Eyoyo 1000TVL with the 9" screen. I finally got to use my Eyoyo while I was ice fishing. The picture is very clear. It was easy to set up and it has excellent battery life. Although the fish did not cooperate, I had no problem seeing a group of fresh water shrimp go by. I had ordered an Eyoyo earlier and it was the wrong one. I contacted Eyoyo and they were very helpful and courteous. UPS picked up the return at my house and in a very short time I had the Eyoyo that I had ordered. As you can see by my photos, the picture is excellent, even if it is just my lure! I guess Eyoyo can't guarantee fish! ... show more

  • Great Picture but Poor Infared
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 30m
I rated this at an overall rating of 4. 1) I am not wild about the design of having the cable come out the back of the camera. I think it would be better if it came out of the top in the balanced center. I will be using my camera for ice fishing and that would make it easier to suspend. I have been able to remedy the problem by just attaching a swivel to the top of the camera and running the line through it. 2) The infrared is decent, but not great. I bought another light to attach to the bottom of the camera and hopefully that will help. The light is manufactured by aquaview and is only another $20. The infrared adjusted on my camera is not worth a $%&(. It is either on or off. There is now adjusting it up and down. Any adjustment down just makes the camera turn off completely. To turn it off on mine I just disconnect the cable that powers the infrared. 3) I was favorably impressed by the case design. It looks like it will keep the monitor, the camera and the other components safe while I am dragging my gear around the lake. I don't know that it is waterproof, but it is certainly better than nothing. I suspect that I will have to open it when I get home from fishing to air out the compartment. There is always moisture left on the cable when it gets wound up and I can't believe that will be good for the other electronics. 4) The cable on this unit is much thinner than the cable I had on my ancient aquaview. I figure it is maybe 1/2 the diameter and strenth. All in all, I think that is a plus because it weighs less and takes up less room. 5) The record function on the camera is freaking awesome. It records an image way way way better than I thought I would be able to get. It can take snapshots or video. I bet I am goign to get some really great video of pike and walleye this year as they hammer my lure. That will go on facebook for sure. Hope my assessment helps in making your decision. ... show more

  • Damn good !
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 30m
Can you get better ones.., yeah, if you've got a grand to spare, but this little unit is a working man's unit. Good picture quality. I don't need to count the scales on a fish or produce a television show . I wish there was a better way to store the camera cable. Also a built in compasses, but then it would be more money. ... show more

  • Better then high End!
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 30m
I bought this camera for my husband because his older one stopped working, he finally took it fishing this weekend and fell in love with it! It definitely did not disappoint. The image quality is amazing and very easy to use. I'm planning on buying a second one for my dad this Christmas!

  • Camera as described and great customer service
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 30m
The description and features of the camera are just as described. We have had the camera for over a year and have used it not just for looking at fish but also down pipes etc. It is still working great. Customer service is very helpful with questions.

  • Maybe for ice fishing, but forget about a boat
The positives are that the screen at 9 inches was great and the video quality when you could see a fish wise good. I will caution that my experience was using the camera on a boat while fishing for bass in a extremely clear water lake. What makes this ineffective for anything besides ice fishing is that even a little bit of movement completely undermines the ability to use the camera. Deploying it from my boat, even when anchored or locked in on a trolling motor, is going to be too much movement for the camera and you are not going to be able to see anything because the camera is going to be constantly spinning and moving. I tried it from a dock since that was a stationary position but even in 10 feet of water the amount of movement in the lake since it was not frozen over with too much of the camera, causing the camera to spin and you would not be able to see anything. The only time I was able to see fish was when I attached to a pole and hold it steady and I could see blue girls swimming up to it and looking at it but that is not a practical way to use the camera. ... show more

  • Excellent customer support
I bought this system to video my Dungeness crab pots. I like the large monitor and ease of use. About the 4th or 5th time turning it on, it lost the signal to the monitor. Contacting the manufacturer, I followed the troubleshoot steps to determine that the monitor was fine and that the problem was with the camera. They immediately sent me a new one and now I’m a happy camper again. Great customer service. ... show more

  • Great, but...
Style: 9 inch w/ DVR 15m
Great screen size but the picture quality isnt as good as the 720p version. If you dont care about picture quality then get this. But, dont get any moocoor products. I compared them to this one and returned two of there products. So, far Eyoyo hasnt disappointed me.
