Thanks to the design of the elite series 2 controller, there are no screws to hassle with, simply pry off your original cover and snap this one in place. I used a blue elite controller which, to me, makes the plate look even better. There are a few pieces that need to be attached first, but nothing that requires tools. Just look at the original plate and you can see how everything goes into place. I would recommend watching a YouTube video just to see how to take off the cover, If you don’t want to damage it. The faceplate also comes with black guard rings for the thumb sticks but I chose to use the original blue ones that were on the controller plate. Overall the controller looks great and the plastic doesn’t feel cheap. It’s a great piece to give your controller a different look.

It looks and feels way better then the stock shell. Ya you lose the grips on the top but you can order replacements that go on top. The prosses was fairly easy just be patient and work one side and the rest peels off the shaping noises are the tabs unhooking they won't break. Overall good product 👌

I thought this was a package for the whole controller but it’s not it is only the front shell, that being said it makes more sense and will work perfectly! Love the color, and the feel, it’s a gift for my son so we haven’t installed it yet but it came with everything needed!

The fitment was spot on and super easy to swap out. The plastics for the LED's lights to shine through for the charge light and profiles was a bit of a pain to put in place but that's just due to the small size and how precise you have to be with pushing the parts in place to avoid possibly breaking them since they are friction fit. The color matched what I expected and rubberized coating feels nice. Only con I really have is how quickly the finish gets oily looking. It cleans up easily with just a wipe down from a microfiber towel but lord help you if you have sweaty hands or naturally oily skin.

took maybe 30 seconds to take off my old cover and replace it with this one. my old original series 2 face plate was peeling away and this was a cheap easy fix without replacing an entire 100+ controller. so if you have that problem or just want a different looking controller without getting a fully custom one this is the way to go.

I love it! Exactly as advertised and I'm really digging the blue color. I do wish they could eventually make ones with grips or grip textures. But for now, these are absolutely amazing and it's smooth and I thank them for adding tools in the packages.

The good is that they look great when new and are easy to install. The bad is that the design fades very quickly and the rings are too soft so they get small indentions that give a grindy feeling on the sticks. I wouldn't buy another with a design. They should probably come with several extra sets of rings. Metal rings would be ideal. Still the best option out there.
