This kit was not too difficult to install with the video. The issue I am having is that one of my buttons is sticking when i Close my ps5 controller case tight. I am having to leave controller screws loose to keep from holding the button down. I have taken apart and put back together a dozen times, but I still have the same issue on the same triangle button. As far as feel, it feels great! It works well when it is working correctly Edited: moved to 5 stars. The company has amazing customer service. I can't say that I've ever seen better. my son (13) wanted a modded controller. Long story short, I watched the video on YouTube, purchased this, and 45 min later he had his controller. Works amazingly. The media could not be loaded. First of let me start of by saying that i have purchased clicky hair triggers for the ps4 controller from extreme rate in the past and never had issues with them, that being said i bought the micro switch clicky hair trigger for the dualsense and loved them however; after about a month and a half after using them l2 and r2 started squeaking and become bad to press. I went and contacted extreme rate on their website and they gave me a full refund the next day. Needles to say i am very impressed with the quality of customer service extreme rate has and for that very reason i am switching my review back to 5 stars. ... show more

All works awesome except, I had to modify the inserts for the triggers as they were too large and would fully depress the tactile switch when installed. This made the triggers stiff with no click. A bit of sanding on the contact face of the insert resolved the issue. Everything is clicking as intended. Tip check the clickyness of all the switches before installing. If they all click good! When installed if you find certain buttons don't click then you know that insert will need to be modified. Too long/Didn't read: Great when it works, however it's poorly made and breaks very easily, support from the company was horrid, a complete waste of time and money. When it works, it feels great. Sadly, mine didn't want to. I've disassembled my controller many times before for cleaning, I've built computers, etc. So I definitely wasn't at fault for the failures of this product. Upon installation everything worked fine except for down on the d-pad, which I fixed temporarily with a thorough cleaning of the switch with isopropyl alcohol. Then it worked fine for a bit, before it started again. It went from everything from the down on the d-pad breaking again, to up on the d-pad, all the way to the circle button being broken too. I left a review on the facebook page of the company and I was asked for my order number, I explained I ordered here on Amazon and not from their website, and got no reply afterwards. Additionally, their tutorial video was lackluster at best, skipping some steps and being incredibly unclear with others, requiring the use of tools they acted as if were included with the kit, but were not. Anyways, don't buy this, instead just shell out the extra cash and get your controller modded by professionals that don't make or make use of bad products. ... show more

    • Not That Easy to Install and Didn't Work with Supplied Parts (Update)

Update: Customer service has worked with me on this and ultimately it is working. I want to say I am very happy with the response of the company, but I can't in good conscience give this more than 3 stars. The reason is because the companies recommendation for the dpad right button not hitting consistently was to stick a piece of printer paper over the pad, it did work, but as a company recommendation that tells me they know there is a problem with some of these. I can't imagine a Microsoft or Dell telling someone to stick some paper in their products to fix it. The buttons when they work feel really fast clicky and responsive. This should be a pretty easy install, but first thing the way the board is built it doesn't hold in place very well when the controller has hooks built in, why wasn't this designed to utilize those hooks? I had to use some electrical tape to hold it in place. Then unlike the video they made showing how to put it together, they don't supply the rubber pieces for the Dpad which would have been perfect they only supplied a rubber membrane which made it where the Dpad right button didn't make consistent contact. I took one of the extra rubber peices from the buttons and cut it to fit in the Dpad then cut out that slot in the membrane so it would fit and used the rest of the membrane peices for the buttons that did work, now all buttons are working, but if the rubber peices in the video were supplied this wouldn't have been a problem. From my experience with extremerate, they are excellent with BDM-010 kits, but have no clue when it comes to BDM-020 kits. On the plus side the buttons feel great when you get them to work and are nice and clicky. Was just a pain to install. Without proper pieces. ... show more
