I'm a sucker for transparent electronics and these is no exception. The shade of green gives that OG Xbox vibe and the silver screws inside pop nicely under the faceplate. It looks great and feels quality in the hand, with just the right amount of texture, despite being smooth plastic (it has a matte or frosted feel that is a little bit slippery, as opposed to the tacky feel of glossy plastic.) The hardest part of installation is getting the stock faceplate off. Once you do that I recommend just removing the adhesive so any future repairs or modifications will go much easier. The actual act of installing this faceplate is dead simple, it just snaps right on with a satisfying click.

This front shell is amazing. The color makes the controller pop, very easy to snap onto the controller and fits perfectly. You lose the grip in the front but it doesn't bother me one bit. I purchased this with their Textured Red Non-Slip Back Housing Shell, Black Replacement Buttons, and their 6 in 1 Metallic Black Magnetic Stainless Steel D-Pads Replacement Back Paddles, and it's a whole new controller. Absolutely worth the purchase.

Thanks to the design of the elite series 2 controller, there are no screws to hassle with, simply pry off your original cover and snap this one in place. I used a blue elite controller which, to me, makes the plate look even better. There are a few pieces that need to be attached first, but nothing that requires tools. Just look at the original plate and you can see how everything goes into place. I would recommend watching a YouTube video just to see how to take off the cover, If you don’t want to damage it. The faceplate also comes with black guard rings for the thumb sticks but I chose to use the original blue ones that were on the controller plate. Overall the controller looks great and the plastic doesn’t feel cheap. It’s a great piece to give your controller a different look.

The media could not be loaded. The tool that they sent with it is completely useless. it broke almost immediately while trying to open up my controller. I ended up using some guitar pics to open it. Highly recommend getting a tool kit for this sort of thing before purchasing. Other than that, it turned out great. The ABS plastic is high-quality and goes really well with the black accents of the buttons and joysticks. I honestly prefer the feeling of the ABS plastic far better than the stock shell. It feels more sturdy and slightly textured like the old-school Xbox controllers. It fits perfectly and looks stock with the rest of the controller. The joysticks and buttons aren’t affected at all by the change and are still fully articulate and comfortable to press. In conclusion, I love the modification and it was a complete upgrade to the controller, Making it feel completely unique and custom. Highly recommended.

A really good deal! It’s functional working great. Color is my favorite no more rubber sides to glue anymore. Should have gotten this months ago. May get the back part if it starts to become a pain. Was super easy to put on. Highly recommend it!

Faceplate fits on perfectly. The plastic clips that keeps the faceplate connected to the controller are fragile, most of them broke putting the case on so not the most sturdy. This could just be the faceplate i got but buyer be warned. The fit was solid, but it feels loose around the bottom of the controller after checking that everything is fit in place where it needs to be, the faceplate pushes in if i put enough force on it though. The tool that came with the package was not usable. Overall, id recommend buying this faceplate if you want to replace your old one or just looking for options. I don't know if I will buy again considering how easy the faceplate pieces can break. Very cheap plastic.
