Purchase your controller first and double check the style. Had to swap one out because I didn’t. Plus - if you aren’t replacing the buttons, and are fully customizing the controller, the PS buttons are colored according to the controller. I had to get a camo controller to get black buttons. Soldering was pretty simple. Just need a dot on a 4 connections. Had to take it apart once, and get a better connection on the chip/strip that leads to the extra buttons. Amazing product at a great price for anyone contemplating getting back buttons. I initially bought this product because I sent my aim controller out for repair after 3 years of use and needed a back up. This product came quick and was easy to install . Took me like half an hour to setup. But I took my time ! I didn't want to mess anything up. Great setup. It feels great in my hands, I don't have to let go of the camera joystick to perform actions like sliding, reloading, switching weapons or anything I map the buttons to. It actually made me a better player now, since I can shoot, aim and crouch easily and it just came naturally. The only con Is that there isn't anyway way to setup different profiles. Maybe there is but if there is a way its not straight forward. I saved a lot of money going down this route. I got this for $32, and my ps5 controller from Facebook for $20. I also bought new buttons, shell, joystick caps, clicky face buttons. All from this company. I spent like $80 and it feels like a true pro custome controller ! My soldering skills are very average, you don't need to be a skilled person to solder for this setup. 100% recommend it, the way the buttons feel and the grip ! Awesome! ... show more

Product works great. Just got the new PlayStation slim. The model number was not on the motherboard of the controller, Or I couldn’t find it but was able to match it to the spring which is on the right side. So I was confident with the picture provided in the ad before purchase.

Used these paddles before on my other controller for about a year and they still work so I decided to customize my own controller with all the parts from extreme rate and everything works great. I will say be careful installing everything right an watch the videos carefully and you’ll be fine.
