Description

Legend tells of a demon with such inhuman strength that just one of his hairs, properly harvested, could make a rope of untold power. So we descended into the bowels of hell and brought back… The Devil's Hair. Not really. But it would be cool if we did, right? No devils were harmed in the making of this synthetic rope, but it is legendarily strong, and amazingly light. It's so light that it floats, actually. The proprietary SynSteel braided line has the highest strength-to-weight ratio available (6,000 lbs. breaking strength); there's nothing lighter and stronger. Devil's Hair is easy to handle. It doesn't burr, fishhook or kink like cable, and it doesn't have a memory. So go on, and get the devilish strength your winch demands and order up a dose of The Devil's Hair. For optimal performance and maximum life, we recommend 5600.3096 MAGNA Polished Aluminum Universal ATV/UTV Hawse Fairlead for Synthetic Rope and 5600.3090 Universal ATV / UTV Rubber Hook Stopper & Line Saver.

It's a rope
Of all the synthetic ropes I've owned, this is one of them. It does not kink up on the winch, and does a fine job of getting me out of places I shouldn't have gotten into.

Synethetic winch rope
Installed on my Warn winch. I used it to pull my not running utv on to my trailer. Will use it for a plow lift this winter. Time will tell if it holds up.

Put on my four wheeler with a 3000lbs winch. Easy install and I pull tested after some of the reviews I had seen had no problems.

Poor quality
Review Image by brandon jacobs brandon jacobs
Used this winch rope for the first time yesterday. After plowing my driveway only one time the protective cover tore and the rope started to fray. Very poor quality nothing about this rope is extreme at all. I do not recommended this product unless you never use your winch

I use it mostly for pulling logs and so far this rope has been great.
I broke my previous 4000b cable, pulling less than 4000lb. I use it mostly for pulling logs and so far this rope has been great.

Kinda pinkish salmon, going to return

I don't doubt that at one point in time this rope was actually read but it looks like it's been sitting in the sunlight for quite a while the strands are white throughout along with strands that are still red giving it a salmon appearance or pinkish I'm going to give a 3-star rating because I'm sure the Rope works fine but the color is important I know that these things do sunbleach after well but I'd rather it's sun-bleached in my possession then receiving one that is already lacking color ... show more
