Was tired of the other anchors. They did not hold, or were difficult to get set. This anchor set first try. Boat was in the water for four days. The anchor never moved, I finally did not stress over anchor holding. Most lakes we visit have all the different bottom surfaces. It held so well, I had to dive in and yank it backwards to retrieve. Left it in the water after loading boat. It proved it will hold in rough water also. Note to self: pull anchor back while boat is still in water. I highly recommend this style anchor.
