Such an awesome product for the price! It makes my cheapie matress feel like a five star hotel matress. It was easy to fluff after opening, and has stayed nice and fluffy since being on the bed for the last few weeks. This is a nice and thick topper with big pockets for going over your matress and staying nicely. My back has been better than in the past but I don't know if it is from this topper or getting a new matress. Sleep quality has improved as well. I also love how fluffy and full my matress looks when the bed is made. Once again looks like a fancy hotel. I love the quality of the fabric on this topper as well, I tend to think that square weave fabric is such a high quality weave. Really a great buy for the money!

I'll be honest, when I first unwrapped this mattress topper, I was hit with a whiff of that familiar "new product" smell. It's not overpowering or toxic, but it's definitely noticeable. So, I decided to give it a wash before putting it to use. I took it to the laundry mat and threw it in the large machine with some dryer balls. A light wash and dry later, and this topper came out transformed! The down alternative filling is now super fluffy, and the polyester fabric has lost its shiny, slippery finish. Now that it's been washed and dried, I'm excited to see how it performs. The deep pocket design fits my queen-sized mattress perfectly, and the overfilled filling should provide just the right amount of comfort and support. If you're considering this mattress topper, I highly recommend washing it first. It makes all the difference in the world! Pros: - Deep pocket design fits mattresses up to 21 inches deep - Overfilled down alternative filling for added comfort and support - Washing it first makes the fabric less shiny and slippery Cons: - Has a chemical smell straight out of the package (but it's not toxic and goes away after washing)

We got this topper for our guest bed, but after trying it out ourselves, we’re seriously considering one for our own room. It made an older mattress feel brand new—soft, supportive, and way more inviting. Our guests even commented on how well they slept. This mattress topper came quickly. The mattress topper itself was in a vacuum-packed bag inside an Amazon box. It was quite heavy to pick up. Upon opening the vacuum pack bag the mattress topper expanded. I put it in the dryer on air fluff for 20 minutes and it fluffed up beautiful. It is a 2 inch topper. I was pleasantly surprised as I have paid two and three times the price for mattress toppers of equal quality. I really like the square stitching that holds the batting in place. I appreciate that the sides were able to accommodate my 21-in mattress and gel topper. I picked this topper because it is also protects the gel topper plus it prevents that heat that you feel from the gel toppers. This topper is so comfortable and makes no noise. I am very pleased with it.

Back saver! I was staying with my aunt for a week, and her bed was extremely hard for me (even with the topper she had.) I think it especially was especially rough because I am a side sleeper. I was waking up with arm and back pain, so I ordered this. Wow, what a difference! Not only did I fall asleep fast, I slept longer and more comfortably, and I woke up feeling much better. It's cushy but not too thick, and the normal (not deep pocket) sheets fit over it, and the other outdated topper just fine. Now I'm going to have to get one for my bed at home too! I am curious how long it will hold up over time, but for the comfort level no matter what is worth it! I did not see any washing instructions and I'm hoping it doesn't get lumpy. Extreme value, highly recommend!

My previous review below, but I'm updating it from 4 stars to 5 stars. After about a month of using it, it's just sooooooooooooo soft and comfortable. The gray color is great, preferable to the usual white mattress pads. I was concerned that it would be lumpy, but it's not at all. It's actually very soft, not stiff at all. The pocket is very deep, and would probably accommodate the deepest mattresses. The fabric that tucks around the mattress is quite thin, and the pad pulls away from the edge of the mattress just a little, but you don't really feel it, and it could be because my mattress is only around 8" thick. It seems a bit warm, which is great right now because we are still in the cold season, but I may need to change this out in the summer. This is not a foam mattress pad, so don't expect it to add cushion.
