I bought this because the turf got too hot for my dogs little paws. The set up was easy and the metal tubing made the whole set up super sturdy. The appearance and quality is great overall for the cost. Not sure if it’s waterproof but it definitely seems weatherproof and protects the ground from the hot turf. It’ll take my little guys to get used to it but I’m sure they’ll love not stepping on the hot ground. ... show more

Everything seems fine, perfect size and the quality is good but I would suggest it should have elastic band on 4 sides instead if 2 sides.

We use this as a winter “Potty Palace“ for our 6 pound toy dog to use in our harsh Midwest, snowy winters. It has worked out perfectly! A big selling feature on this one is that it can be closed on three sides, which is what we wanted for our purposes. We have it right outside our front door off of our porch and put straw on the bottom. The snow here sometimes would be taller than the dog so we used to take him around the side of the house where there were some bushes and the snow was not as deep but this works out much better. It was very easy to follow the directions and put it together. Some of the metal poles have a elasticized band running through them so they fit together with the corresponding piece very easily. Using just the provided stakes to secure it was fine during the winter because they got frozen into the ground. However, in March we had tremendous winds the day after we happened to go out of town for vacation and we saw on our porch camera that it was missing after the storm. Neighbors four houses down found it in their ditch after I texted the neighbors to see if anyone had seen it. It looked like a mangled mess as it was in a heap when we got home from vacation, but we took the cover off, put the poles back in place, put the cover back on and it’s perfectly fine. We found all of the stakes on the driveway and the lawn and are using those, but also have secured it with canopy tent weights now, and suggest that be done if you want to be sure it won’t go anywhere. We bought long planters with artificial boxwood to try and hide it a bit, but neighbors said they never noticed it. The one pic shows my 5’7” husband when we first set it up, to show how roomy it is. The blue tape on it was just temporary to mark where the peak was for assembly. ... show more

Pretty well made, heavy duty and durable. Having the side flaps is nice so sun can be blocked when necessary and breeze can pass through at other times. Would give it 5 stars, but every time I move it the legs come apart and getting them back in is a hassle. Will probably secure with some duck tape. The other issue is paint has come of footing and there's some rust starting (not terrible). Plenty large! Goes together easily. ... show more

Love it! My kittens love it! I have 2 cathouse underneath the tent and they fit perfectly! Kittens like to lay on top of the houses ...and its waterproof & windproof. Unit is very sturdy & of great quality...looks great. I'm glad I purchased this "cat tent"! Picture says it all!

If you need to move them these are not the right choice. They need more supports along the back and the roof supports should snap in like the legs do. If you are just staking these to the ground and never need to move it this might work for you.
