This doghouse meets my expectations. I'm glad I ordered an extra large, I wouldn't want any smaller than this. My husband was able to put it together himself in about a half hour. I don't think my dog has used it yet, but I'm hoping once I line it with towels and toys and he catches on that it's for him, he should. We have it on our deck so it's partially covered from the elements, but it seems like it would be fairly waterproof. I've only had it for a few days so I guess time will tell.

I purchased this as an additional duckhouse for ducks and it does its job, but maybe houses 4 ducks top. If it only can house 4 ducks, I can't imagine an XL dog like a lab, German Shepherd, etc being able to fit in it. I have these breeds and they most definitely can't lol. It is sturdy and does well so can't complain there, but I do wish it was bigger like an actual XL doghouse. It does serve its purpose though for now. 🙃

The house is a perfect size for my mini pig. It's enough space and it seems sturdy!! Just perfect!! The only thing is making sure all of the pieces stay clipped in before screwing it together.
