- After each usage,drain all moisture from tank.Water will condense in air tank.If not drained, water will corrode and weaken the air tank causing a risk of air tank rupture. Sunroad Extended Tank Drain Valve Assembly is perfect for the air tank.
- 10 flexible braided steel drain hose which prevents breaking and kinks. 1/4in. NPT threads at both ends matches 1/4in. NPT male brass fittings. Max working pressure: 175 PSI. Blasting Pressure: 475 PSI. Max Temperature: 200 degrees F.
- 1/4 in. elbow with pre-applied thread sealant, allowing for attaching the additional drain hose or elbow.
- Quarter-turn ball valve is made of chrome-plated brass for higher corrosion resistance than regular brass or steel, and has a lever handle for on/off to control the flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses. The rubber-wrapped handle is designed for easy-use and labor-saving. This ball valve is pressure rated to 300 PSI at a maximum operating temperature of 212 degrees F.

The only problem I had with it is that where the valve threads onto the hose it was very hard to get to stop leaking. I took it off three times and finally added several rounds of thread tape much more than it should take but for the moment it's not leaking. UPDATE It's still leaking. Tired of trying. Starting return. I do not recommend!

Works well. The compressor kicks on very infrequently, so I'll check for any kind of minute leakage from the 90 deg shutoff valve. Else, threads up nice and appears to be fully functional. Kind of hard to use the hose clamps due to my vertical compressor leg configuration. Else, all good. Will update IF it's a valve leak of any kind.
