Own a pretty small 1 bedroom condo, but the bedroom is relatively large. We have 4 “kids”, 3 grown, (1 is still every young) and 1 is married. Bought this bed so when the other kids are with us just kid can sleep in the twin, but when the married couple is at our condo this can be pulled out and they don’t have to sleep with something over their heads (bunk bed formally). Love this bed, BUT the bolts it came with wasn't the right size. We had to find ones to fit, lucky we did. Some of the pieces was damage and cracked.. all in all my son loves this bed!!

I want to start off with the customer service, if I could rate that individual it would be a 20 out of ten. We were missing a part & they went way above our expectations to make it right. We bought a twin sealy mattress, it doesn't seem to be wide enough. My speculation is the king extension is the extra lip that the mattress doesn't cover since it doesn't seem to fit flush against the main bed portion. This is minor for us as our 2.5 year old uses that as a step so the mattress is in the middle with a little gap on both side. But again the customer service alone I would buy with them again. ... show more

It looks good and with our foam mattress on it very comfortable, however it pops and creaks and doesn't feel the most durable of furniture. It is ok for an adult and it supports am adult weight but it is not meant for children who may jump on it instead of just sitting down and definitely no play. I bought the extendable trundle day bed in espresso color. It came with all the pieces and parts and nothing was chipped or broken and everything fit together as instructed. I love the color! It is a very nice deep chocolate brown and perfect for my guest room decor. It did take me 4 hours to put it together (by myself), but I took my time and made sure I read the instructions before jumping into the assembly. One pointer - the instructions tell you to put the trundle stopper block flush to the side rail, but you really need it to extend down a little bit so it actually works at stopping the trundle from sliding to the back of the bed (that will make more sense if you buy this item). I still need to buy the mattresses, but since I already have a slatted platform bed in my bedroom I already know it will be supportive for use as a guest bed. ... show more
