I bought these to extend the height of my 4 foot chain fence. They were not hard to install and are great quality! I did it all myself and used 21 gauge chicken wire as the fencing in between, plus industrial aluminum zip ties to place and tighten. So far it’s everything I was hoping for and keeps my Doberman from jumping up and over my fence! I would highly recommend if looking for a cost effective solution to heighten a fence. ... show more

Purchased to extend the height of our fence to discourage our dog from climbing out. Installation to top of fence at an inward angle was quick and easy, used p-ties to fasten mesh to fence and rods. Works great, looks nice. These are versatile.

I purchased this product to keep my cat in the backyard. He is 2 years old and has figured out he can jump the fence. I have had these for over a month now and he has not left the yard. The posts are made well, but I ended up having to purchase the braces from Extend A Post (59.99 for 4) because the weight caused the top rail to roll. I would recommend this to be a 2-person job to help with attaching the wire to the posts. I am very pleased with the results. Now Toby can roam freely in the yard and be the tiger he is inspired to be. Also a plus...it's keeping the deer out! We have a golden doodle and a doberman, My doodle had this awful habbit of jumping the fence. Instead of spending 2 thousand dollars for a new 6 foot fence we decided to give this much cheaper option a try. The posts were not hard to put up. They do require tightening from time to time but its no big deal. We used hardware cloth and zipties. The extra 2 feet is all it took to keep my Doodle safer. ... show more

The fence we had installed for our dogs was too short at 5 feet tall- my doberman was jumping right over it. I needed to extend the fence by 2 feet and this did the trick. Easy to install and sturdy. Saved me money too. What I did was attached poles all around the top of my fence (vertical) and then I attached hardware cloth to both the poles and the existing chain link fence. I tied it together with metal wire. Learn from my mistake- if you’re putting up a dog fence, the taller the better. If you have a big dog- go at least 7 feet. ... show more

What a great product. Purchased to prevent deer from jumping over 4’ chain link. After many years, deer never tried to jump fence to get at flower garden. Last year, they mowed down almost all of daylillies in bloom. Install these extensions with 3 ft fencing in April, and so far, so good. Description said 9 extensions would cover 100ft.
