I have been looking for a few years for top that would fit my 1997 F250 heavy duty, 8 foot bed. The trifecta 2.0 fits perfect. Extremely easy to take on and off. Hopefully it will stand up to the brutal southwest Florida sun.

I installed this on my 1994 F250, long bed. I received the new model with auto/new latching system. The auto latch is the way to go, absolutely. I am generally not a tonneau cover fan, but was specifically searching for one that offered “out of sight, out of mind” security and a bit of weather protection on my fishing trips while still offering easy removal for when I needed to use a truck as a truck. After researching tonneau covers for quite some time, I settled on this one and couldn’t be happier overall. Fully folded, but still installed, I can access nearly the entire truck bed and can easily fit dozens of 12’ 2x4’s leaning against the closed tailgate without interference. The company’s videos are accurate here, I can go from a closed and latched cover to one fully folded in less than a minute by myself. Removal is a bit more difficult and awkward. Being a long bed, the cover is heavy. Full removal/installation takes about 5 minutes but is still a very simple procedure overall. This is the cheapest cover you can buy that offers high practicality for a real, working truck. I’ve owned trucks in the past with other styles of covers and its worth paying just a bit more for this folding model. The snap/Velcro style has a short life and is so temperature sensitive it is nearly worthless in the Midwest where we experience full on seasons. The cover seals the bed about 90%. In heavy rains some water does intrude, but very minimally overall. The cover does not follow the bed lines exactly and is slightly off-center, exposing a bit of the stake pockets in the rear. I keep my truck nice, show ready as it is officially a classic, and this is a slightly bothersome aesthetic. I’ve only had this on my truck for a couple months so can’t speak to its durability, but it so far looks like new. ... show more
