When deciding on what tonneau cover to buy there were several things i kept in mind. Price,dependability, and overall quality. I have to say I almost bought a different cover for $230 until I really thought about it and my other tonneau cover I have I originally bought was from extang for my 2006 Ram 1500 and now is on my 2010 Ram 1500 the cover is 11 years old and the only thing thats wrong with it is that it has faded just a little bit from the sun beating on it. So I ended up looking at extangs website and found the trifecta 2.0 and ill tell you just from watching the videos extangs looks like it was built way better then the other guys so I said id rather go with a company i know i can trust that they make a high quality cover (due to my own personal experience) So i decided to pay a little more for this cover and im am very happy with it I rated it 4 stars due to where the cover folds there is a slight bulge on both sides and my hope is that they go away once the weather gets nicer. Other that that it is a great cover so far if i have any issues with it i will rate it again. if you are on the fence about this cover id reccomend you buy it. it was a breeze to install 10 minutes max and i like the fact it folds and can be removed and brought with you if need be: update the cover has been on the truck for a few months and it is so convenient i came from the extang full tilt and before that it was the old fashioned pop the buttons ( pain in the a**) and let me tell you if you are hauling something thats too tall it is so nice you cab fold this cover and not have to take it off it has held up well through the end of winter and spring and summer so far and in pa we can have 4 seasons in one day thats no kidding seriously and it has held up wonderful if i find faults ill post them but im not anticipating any ... show more

Haven't seen the increase in mileage that some have, although I did purchase soon after I got the truck, so I didn't have a lot to compare with. I can say this, though... I don't know if I could go back to not having one of these now! It is so handy to just hit the remote lock button and have my truck secured! I can carry tools or other things in the bed and don't have to worry about someone walking away with them. I expected the claims of easy installation to be overstated, but they were right on... once I got used to it, five minutes is a slow install/removal time! So easy to put on and take off, and now I don't even lay it out flat since I see where it should sit on the front of the bed, I just lay it down, folded up and sinch the two front clamps down, unfold it and flip the back two on and I'm done. Normally about three minutes tops. It is just high enough to fit over my fifth-wheel hitch, keeping it covered and clean when not in use. Wish the hitch was as easy to put in!!! Update: I have had this for about two years and have really enjoyed being able to keep things safe and secure in the bed. It has been through snow, ice and quite a few automated car wash trips and has been very reliable. All the hardware still works as good as the day I installed it. A friend had been watching how mine faired and finally decided it was time to bite the bullet. We had his out of the box, positioned and cranked down in just a few minutes. Poor packaging caused damage to the vinyl during shipping. I’ve had a trifecta cover for seven years and it had served me well. It’s a shame that they cheapened the hold downs on the cover. I probably would have ordered another one because shipp damage happens but cheapen the product and charge more doesn’t work for me. ... show more

So right out of the box it was an easy install; about 15 minutes and she was good to go.Now here are a few issues I have with this cover. Right out of the box, the clips that hold the arms in the bed;while not in use; are extremely cheap and were broke right out of the box; not a huge deal but still a little annoying for an $800.00 dollar cover. Another look at the pictures; there seems to be some wrinkles along the rubber seams; not sue if this is normal or not; but effeminately more pronounced one side than the other. Lastly just FYI; when the cover is all the way up the flaps rest directly on the back cab tail light; I used the rubber bumpers that came with the cover and they are thick enough; I do not think its going to be an issue. All in all; Iam happy so far, as long as it hold up to the rain. We will post update late. ... show more

I bought this to replace a retractable tonneau cover from another manufacturer, that I wish I could have sent bak. It has only been installed on my truck for a short amount of time but the vinyl and the structure seem to be solid. It was very easy to install - unfold the cover, place on the truck, align to where you want it, lower clamps and tighten - exactly as instructions stated and couldn't be much easier. I am curious about two things with this tonneau, 1) will it keep the water out, and 2) will the gasket/seal that contacts the top of the tailgate survive over time. The reason I am curious about the tailgate seal is because of the tailgate rubbing on it everytime it is opened/closed. The top of the tailgate actually raises the rear of the tonneau cover slightly when the tailgate is closed and adds a bit of resistance when closing the tailgate. Only time will tell how this holds up. ... show more

I love how easy to install and remove this cover is. I lay it out, unfold it, line it up the exact way I want, tighten the two wing nuts up front and latch the back. Takes all of 5 minutes if that to do. Holds out most of water out even from a car wash. The only thing i haven't liked is the one of the foam pieces on the folding sections is cracking already and one corner foam I needed to glue back on already. So wasn't impressed with that. But overall I am very happy with the product and would recommend to others. ... show more
