This is a review for the "Explore Land Trailerable Waterproof Boat Cover Fits 14'-16'Long Beam Width up to 76" V-Hull Tri-Hull Runabout Fishing Ski Pro-Style Bass Boats, Blue" I was looking for a cover for my Catalina 14.2 sailboat. Custom ones are hundreds of dollars, so being able to find something for less than a hundred was great. The cover fit my boat with the cover over the mast in the front with the mast hanging out in the back. We trailered the boat on a 3hr each way trip and the cover did fine. In our case we packed the boat with gear for our vacation so it helped fill out the cover a bit, it might flap more with an empty boat. The cover seems to resist water well. The included straps help fit it down well, but feel flimsy, they would be find holding the cover on in the yard, but I wouldn't rely on them exclusively on the highway, as you can see we added a few ropes to secure it. Other reviewers mention its large in the bow and I would agree for our shape of boat, but it wasn't hard to cinch it down a bit. I can't speak to long-term durability, but I wanted to report that it held up to the highway. I read other reviews that said the colors fades, so I'm expecting that but will update over time. ... show more

    • There’s is no way to adjust the straps

The straps that stabilize the pole and provide form to your cover are giant loops. You can make the loop bigger or smaller but that’s it for adjustment and it’s not nearly enough for my 12’ boat. Why they made them loops instead of just straps you could pull the open end of to adjust is baffling. Also instead of any kind of hook on the end as mentioned it’s a webbing loop with plastic snap buckles which doesn’t easily fit through cleats and can’t be secured to the lip or rub rail without some other sort of hook. I tied it up in knots to shorten it and that sort of works, but there’s no way to tension it now. It woulda been so easy to make this work. Also the bottom of the pole is hard plastic and it slides around everywhere. Why they couldn’t put a non skid bottom on it? Again. I don’t know. ... show more

After having bout the plastic poles at walmart, and watching them fall over with the lightest of rain I order this one. I actually ordered two and combined the pieces into a taller pole shown in the picture. The straps hold well and securely. This pole has not fallen over once, even through some very nasty weather!
