Usually I am a large or size 12. I got a size medium as recommended and fits perfectly. There is no slit to but still looks nice and slimming. I thought it was a bit long at first but pulled it up as a high waist and the length is just right. Not to tight and fits comfortably

Got this for wifey to go with a white untucked blouse and black sheer stockings. A very nice ensemble, athough the skirt is more below than at the knee as in the seller's photos, about three inches too long. Nevertheless, pretty darn cute. She is 5'-8", 135 lbs., tomboy frame - large was too big even though the sizing chart led us that way. We exchanged it for a medium which fits her well.
