Had 165 degree hot water, with old heating parts, shut the heater off and replaced both thermostats and eliminates. Fit my Rheem hot water heater, perfectly, I only changed the heating elements, I did not change the thermostats, they were working as normal, when changing elements, the cheap 2 in 1, heater element wrench (not included in with elements or thermostat),it is not strong enough to break the elements free, better to have a impact wrench and socket, but good elements, chrome coating will help it last a little longer ... show more

Hot water temperature is back to normal. This replacement kit is a good value and was easy to install. It came with new seals so there is now problem with leakage.
