I bought this smaller rocker for our loving room as I started babysitting our newborn granddaughter. I ADORE this rocker. It rocks smoothly, was easy to set up, it looks expensive, was reasonably priced, it swivels, rocks and lays back. The ONLY issue I have with this rocker is that the foot rest is sooooo hard to put back in place after reclining! I literally have to donkey-kick it to get it to close. That’s it’s only drawback! I would buy this again, as long as I have leg strength. An older person would NOT be able to get the foot rest back locked back in. ... show more

This recliner/glider was listed as "like new" and "box will show damage" but I have bought items from Amazon before like this and things have worked out just fine. Today, I should have known from the very beginning this was going to be bad. This was actually delivered by "UPS" and even though my apartment is on the third floor - there is an elevator which the delivery people know very well. But today, this was dropped in front of the CLOSED office where anyone could have just taken it. But nobody would have taken it because the box was held together by by at least two rolls of packing tape! So much tape that the box was misshapen! I had to find someone to help me get it up to my apartment. Like, come on, this is a senior complex and I am 69 years old! Once I managed to cut all the tape and pull the cardboard away from the chair, boy, was I in for a shock. This "like new" chair looked like it had been dragged across a dirty floor in parts. Ok, so I kept going, hoping it would get better but it didn't. There are only two parts to this chair. Should be easy, I thought. Nope, the back did not want to fit on the bottom piece. Every time I put the back on and moved the chair, the back would come off! When I moved the bottom to see what was happening, it just wobbled. It DID NOT glide or rock. And it was obvious something was bent. I turned it over and saw that the entire mechanism of the glider part was bent! Also, in the process, two steel ball bearings fell out of somewhere! It was hopeless! I called Amazon and explained my problem. I was given a full refund of the reduced amount I paid. I told the customer service person that there was absolutely no way I could send it back, he said to either keep it or throw it away. So, again, three floors down to the dumpster it went. I wanted to love it. But I would never have taken the chance if it hadn't said "LIKE NEW". Beware. I certainly hope the new ones are in good shape. I am seriously rethinking buying the new one now! ... show more

Chair is fine but for the price I’d like for it to function properly. The reclining footstool does not extend all the way, then it is very hard to retract. For anyone postpartum, it is going to be very difficult to try to close the footstool while holding a baby. I opt to just not use the footstool because I’m currently too weak to use it. ... show more

The fabric feels nice. I inspected the chair before putting the back piece together. Everything looks great. Gliding was smooth. Foot rest was good. Package came undamaged and was delivered by Amazon. Works great as a living room furniture or for nursery. Easy to assemble. No tools or screws needed for assemble. Only need scissors to cut the zip tie for bottom part off. Easy to take the back part off if needed to move the seat into a different room if not enough door space to go through.
