The massage feature doesn’t function well. It’s very loud whenever the top massage is on too. I wish I would have just saved money by not opting for the massage feature. It’s too heavy to send back. So I’m stuck with it. :(

My expectations were not high upon ordering this Evolur chair. It appears geared toward mothers with newborns. In my mind, that meant the design was for people with a body smaller than my 6'3" frame. My expectations reached even lower when, upon opening the box, I saw that the chair had been assembled before. The zip ties were already cut, and the metal brackets that connect the back to the seat were scraped up. Fortunately, the brackets appeared to be the only sign of wear. It assembled quickly, but my apprehensions were now thrice confirmed by its appearance. It is a plain-looking chair. Most recliners you encounter at the furniture store will have snazzier looks. All hope was not lost, however. Sitting in a chair is the only way to know its true worth. It is a very comfortable recliner. Evolur made several design choices that make their chair a place I choose to park my rear end for several hours a day. The first is its deep seat which pairs well with my long legs. In the upright position, my knees maintain an ergonomically optimal 90-degree angle. In the reclined position the footrest comes as close to any recliner that I have found to be long enough for my feet. They only hang off by about an inch. My feet usually hang a good 6" off of most recliner footrests. The accommodating length of this Evolur footrest is much more comfortable for me. In addition to the deep seat (and by extension the relative length of the footrest), this chair has a high back. It also serves to accommodate my tall frame. It is tall enough that my head does not hang off. This feature is a must in the reclined position. Other features recommend this chair as well. The cushions are comfy, it reclines more than you would expect, the chair rotates smoothly, and the rocking has good range. I also like the vibrating massage features. If you go in expecting a high-end $5K massage chair, you will likely be disappointed. However, given its price range, it provides a pretty rich feature set and provides a decent massage. There are vibrators in the upper and lower back sections with eight different massage programs. The 2nd and 8th are my favorite. You can also adjust the timer, turn off one of the vibrators, and control the intensity.     • Good size for small room, lots of massage choices

This arrived today. My husband put it together without complaining about the process. However, the remote arrived smashed on the end. I went to their website and it took a few days to get a reply but once they responded they got on it and send me a new remote. Other things to know. I own other recliners. This one is on the small side. Narrower and the seat is higher. My large size does still fit in it. My cat will probably no longer perch on the arm because its narrow. The adjustment for the back and foot are connect. Push a button and the foot goes up and the back down. You push the other button, and the back comes up before the foot goes down. If you want back up and foot up as I usually, do you have to work through this. Finding exactly the right spot is a little difficult. So, there is a bit of compromise in the system. This chair specializes in massages. There are lots of different kinds of massage settings. If massage is what you want, this is a good chair. I do wish for heat. The timer is a good idea. You need to plug in two different cables to make this work, one powers the chair, the other powers the massage. In fairness I need to remember that with my old chair the foot was powered by a lever and my arm. Imo, they need to get rid of 2/3 of the massage functions, add heat, make it work with one cable, and package the remote better so it doesn't get smashed in shipping. Customer service is good. If the chair functions match you need, you should be happy. It's not a bad chair, but if they want to be competitive, they need to improve a couple of things. 1/27/2022 I just sent them a second email and removed another star. I sent the original on 1/23/2022. A reply to the first message I sent arrived as I was sending the second. So at this point to get 2 stars back they need to fix this quickly. ... show more

This glider is amazing. The box it was shipped in was not very solid so there was minor damage. However, the quality of the armchair is fantastic. It is very heavy, so it is best to have two people to move it around. But the setup process was quick and required no special tools or skills. My favorite feature is the back pocket where you can hide the wires if you are not using the reclining/massaging feature. Once we figured out the wiring, everyone in the house just kept taking turns to relax in it. The kids are still fighting over taking turns, even though it has been a month. Our dad likes to relax in the chair after work. Our youngest falls asleep while being rocked in it. It is a really great glider and I’m kicking myself for not getting one when I had my first child. ... show more
