    • Extended turbo studs! These worked great as metric turbo studs.
I used these for extended turbo studs so I could fit a turbo adapter. I used the included nuts to pull the old studs. I would use the nuts on a manifold but not for a turbo. I swapped them out for inconel turbo nuts from cummins.

    • Exhaust Flange Studs...
Had to replace one of the three studs in my driver's side manifold. Some jack*** overtightened the nut and stripped the threads completely. Had to stand on my head and cut off the stud with a die grinder / cutoff wheel. The other two were stupid tight but came apart. With the manifold on the workbench (the wife's flowerbed), I cut the back end of the stud off flush with the flange, using a grinder. Then cut the long side of the stud off to about 1/4" and welded a nut on. First attempt, the nut broke off. Re-welded the nut and beat on the flange a bit with a hammer. This time the stud broke loose and turned out. Cleaned and lubed threads, then installed new stud. If you don't have a welder or oxy-acetylene torch, the OEM studs are extremely difficult to remove. ... show more
