I bought this to replace my MSI 2070, which is still a good card but it choked on Far Cry 6 @ 4K. Enter this newer EVGA 3060, and Far Cry 6 runs like a champ. EVGA's stuff might cost a few bucks more, but I've always been happy with their products and support - it's hard to beat.

So I was saving up for this card for months. I ran a used 1050 before, so I know the reason why it’s so overly priced. graphics cards were running out and were expensive for a little while. I’m just glad it went from $525 down to $450, I have to say the second I put this in my pc, I had a little trouble switching my monitors over to the new system. However overall I’m so happy I bought it my games have never ran this good!!! ... show more

    • Smooth framerates but way too expensive
This GPU got me about 120fps in Warzone, a huge leap from the 60 some fps I was getting with the 980ti. I haven't had any issues thus far, and every game I ran I was able to max settings and get above 100fps. In terms of temperatures, idle is about 30c and during gameplay its around 50-60c. Fan does seem loud when it starts revving up. For others it might be even louder since my computer has built in sound dampening panels. Is it worth the money though? Absolutely not, I only purchased this because my 980ti broke and my computer is useless without a GPU. If not I would wait until price drops back down to msrp. ... show more

    • not good for most games
i have used this card a lot over the last couple of months and have tried everything to fix some of the issues i am having, to no luck. i have updated drivers, i have used Geforce Experience to optimize settings and still it crashes all the time. any game i open even on lowest setting (720-1080p and low res and textures) the card reaches 100% and will crash my computer after about 40min of intense games, most often with multiplayer games. single player games the gpu will run 4K60 and not crash at 100% usage and i cant complain about the card. however i cant play any multiplayer game with this. i am very disappointed. ... show more
