The ultra-quiet 135mm Fluid-Dynamic Bearing fan becomes silent when coupled with EVGA ECO mode to trn off the fan in medium to low loads. • Fan does not work *update*
The media could not be loaded. I recently built a new desktop and it has been randomly blacking out and restarting. I have been troubleshooting for weeks only to realize the fan is not spinning on the PSU. I assumed since it was brand new that nothing would be wrong. It is still providing power but not able to withstand the heat since the fan is not working so it is shutting off. Please see the video attached where you can see the fan is not spinning. It is very hard for me to ship this back to you. Please let me know how can i return this for another or a refund. Update 2020-09-18: Since it couldn't be returned i decided to open it up. I found a piece of plastic that was stuck inside the blades, preventing the movement. Had to use a tweezer to pull it out. After pulling it out the fan started spinning but with a weird audible noise. Maybe because it was held back during use. So far my system doesn't shut off again. I suggest that you guys check on debree before shipping. ... show more

  • Not enough for 10700k and rtx 3070!
I have an intel i7 10700k and msi rtx 3070 gaming x trio combo. They're both pretty beefy, especially the gpu. The recommended wattage was 650 but I figured what the heck grab an 850 just to be safe/for upgradability later. This psu can't handle the power draw spikes reliably and sometimes launching a game or productivity app with gpu acceleration (adobe products) will trigger a system reset. It doesn't happen every time, maybe a third of the time. I should have gone for gold instead of bronze. The modularity is fine and good, it's just not enough power. ... show more

  • So Far So Good!
Purchased this PSU to power my setup: Gigabyte X570 Auros Ultra MB Ryzen 7 5800X EVGA3080 FTW3 32gb G-Skill TridentZ 3000MHz (4x8) EVGA CLC 360mm All-In-One I ran some stress test with everything Over Clocked, and the PSU ran quiet and my system ran everything without any hiccups and never heard the PSU get loud or any buzzing. overall pretty much forget its there. The cables are a "little" short but I managed to route them with a "clean" look, but will probably try to upgrade to a color kit soon. ... show more

  • Best power supply I've found!
The fully modular design along with OONO's ATX 24/20-Pin DC Breakout Module (Brand OONO, CZH-LABS.COM, Model: F-1036) made this purchase an incredibly easy way to convert this power supply into a heavy duty BENCH power supply! A true "plug and play"! High quality (both products) and extremely easy conversion! ... show more

  • EVGA Delivers Quality Again
This is my second EVGA power supply, my first one was a 600W 80+ Bronze back in April 2016, and it is still going to this day, it previously powered an overclocked 6700k and an overclocked GTX 1080Ti, and never once has it failed me. However I wanted an RTX 3090 and an R9 5900x so it was time to upgrade. So I got an EVGA 850W B5, and my temperatures over all are actually better. Somehow nearly all temperature sensors are 3-10 degrees celsius cooler. And my new EVGA power supply. Is going to last me the next 5 years for my needs. So EVGA will be my choice of Brand for future system upgrades from now on. And it comes with a power on test kit. That's a plus. ... show more

  • Runs stabile and quiet
I replaced my 600w PSU to this EVGA 850 B5, 80 Plus BRONZE 850W power supply, because I updated my Graphics Card from GTX 1660 S to a RTX 3060 TI and wanted to make sure there was enough power. My PC case was a little tight. It was a little challenge to cramp the new power supply in there and making sure the cables were not yanked out in the process... Yes I should have thought about that before going with the Fully Modular version (smile) But in the end, all went well and the new 850W is running like a charm. I ignore the fact that it is a Bronze 80 Plus and not Gold. From my experience a reliable brand and plenty positive reviews are more relevant. ... show more

  • Stable performance, quite enough and modularity is ... Amazing.
Recently upgraded my rig to include a Tesla K80 card. I already had i7-8700k and GTX 1080 so my previous 600W PSU needed replacement. I trust EVGA products due to my good experience with them so far. And this was no exception. I fully loaded my PC with work and this gave without issues. It's worth mentioning my wattage rating under full load is around 750w, but I am slightly overclocking and this gives me good room to do so. This is my first ever fully-modular PSU and knowing how good it is I will never go back. It's just better in every possible way. No more unnecessary cables and bloat in the case. ... show more

  • Good deal for a PSU
I purchased this to replace a Roswell 750w PSU that went boom I liked that you could disconnect the wires from the PSU so I don’t have a bunch of unused cables floating around my pc and it works perfectly Hope 850w will be enough as I start to replace more components to upgrade my pc
