  • Just get it
There's nothing I don't like about this thing as far as the build quality. Fun games and design are great plus you can buy cartridges for it

It's so fun and not little like that as I thought it was gonna be! I love evercade! They did a great job. I wish that they would have the street fighter version back in stock and also the mega man. I would definitely buy them if I get a chance! I recommend evercade they are awesome

  • A solid addition to the collectable home arcade market.
I have a number of Evercade carts and one of their Super Pocket systems, and I decided I'd like to have one of their bartop arcade systems, since all the carts can be used with this system. Here's a few observations. In the box, there is the unit and a power adapter - the power adapter has various different plugs that can be swapped in and out depending on where in the world you live. These units have a light up marquee and in the box there are 2 different marquees that can be used in addition to the default Bubble Bobble - Space Invaders and Rastan. Build quality seems good, and I'd say definitely better than some of the Arcade 1UP countercades I own. The buttons are very responsive - almost too sensitive at times. The speaker was surprisingly bassey and not at all tinny, and the 8 inch screen is certainly large enough, given that you'll be playing close up. User interface is fine, although when connecting to wifi or entering text with a joystick and a button is necessarily a little clumsy. I'll share a few tips for new buyers. There are two Evercade cartridge slots on the front, and you can hot swap cartridges without powering off the unit. If you have a Evercade cartridge library, try all possible cartridge combos - certain cartridge combos will unlock other collections of games. Additionally, definitely connect the unit to wifi at least once to get a system update, since a recent firmware update allows DIP switch settings to be edited on certain games, which is not possible on the Super Pocket. The update was a little terrifying - it took longer than I expected to download a 600 MB system update, and the update itself took quite a while (about 8 minutes, and I was a little worried when a Linux-like progress line didn't seem to be changing, but eventually the system updated and restarted). Probably the best thing about these units is the number of games and the variety in the Evercade library, whether you want classic arcade games, 1980's home ports (Atari/C64), and 1990's adaptations for systems you may not have collected, like the NeoGeo, and lots of Toaplan games for old-school shmup fans. You're not just stuck with the same 10-12 games. Overall, highly recommended if you're in the market for a collectable, compact arcade machine. ... show more

  • Excellent mini arcade for retro gaming fans
Very good mini arcade. The Taito edition design looks great and works perfectly as a collectible piece. The screen has vibrant colors and good definition, and the controls respond really well: the joystick is comfortable and the buttons feel precise, giving an experience very close to a real arcade. The selection of Taito games is fun and nostalgic, and it can also be expanded with Evercade cartridges, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s an excellent option for anyone who enjoys retro games and the classic arcade style, both for playing and collecting. ... show more

  • Quality 👌
The build quality is fantastic, and I've ended up playing on this thing almost every day. Getting a lot more use than I thought I would. Grab a few evercade cartridges and have a good time. It's worth the investment imo.

  • Awesome arcade game
I really like this table top arcade. It’s just the right size for me, not too big but big enough for enjoyable play. The price is good compared to some others. Controls work great. The main selling point for me was the fact that you can expand the games to literally hundreds by inserting Evercade game cartridges which I happen to have a large collection of. ... show more

  • Fantastic trip back to the 80's and 90's arcades
This is a great product. Heavy and very well made. Great selection of games. You can expand your collection via Evercade carts, this is the reason I bought it. Fantastic trip back to the 80's and 90's arcades.
