Hands down, the best tent I've ever had by a very significant margin! My girlfriend had never been camping before and was a bit apprehensive, so I wanted everything to go as well as possible. I picked this tent mostly because I'm not a morning person and while I love camping, I dislike the crack of dawn light that comes with it. Therefore, the blackout part is what initially caught my attention and why I bought it. We camped in Colorado in the mountains and it was absolutely beautiful. The tent went up super quick (under 10 minutes) and felt secure and was the perfect size for the two of us and a queen size camping mattress, plus plenty of room for clothes and other stuff. I could see 6 people sleeping in it if everyone was in sleeping bags next to each other. Where it went from a high rating to a "this thing is incredible" rating was the second night of our trip when it rained. It wasn't just some rain either -- it was a literal torrential downpour that lasted for 8 hours straight. It was raining too much to tear down and run for it, so we decided to just hole up inside the tent and wait it out/hope it didn't flood too terribly. Believe it or not -- we didn't have a SINGLE DROP of water on the inside. When we opened the tent door, it was literally water in every direction -- several inches surrounding the tent. I had put a tarp down before I set up the tent, but it did absolutely nothing. The tent was literally sitting in a sea of water...but not a single drop came inside. I've camped all my life with dozens of tents and I've never seen anything like this. I will say that I did notice some people complained about the windows, when the rain fly is up, requiring you to leave the tent to raise or lower them, which is true -- but seriously, this is such a minor gripe for what you get -- absolute and total water resistance. If you could adjust the windows from inside, I'm sure you'd lose that. Given that, its not an issue for me. Overall, I don't have any complaints at all. The price is on the higher side for tents this side, but I think it's absolutely worth it. The combination of the ease to set up, the water resistance/proofing, the blackout that keeps me comfortably sleeping well after the sun is up, and the good size on the inside, make it the best tent I've ever had with a truly astonishing amount of water protection! Rarely do I write such a glowing review for any product, but when it is deserved, it is deserved.

Awesome tent very sturdy. Big zippers which is very important for longevity. Very well made. Great material feels waterproof. Is so easy to put up all you do is unfold the tent and pull out the 4 poles. And the 4 poles are stout they don't feel like they will break easily. It Is definitely Blackout and definitely roomie. We are currently using it as a living situation. In the winter. Lol not ideal but hey. It's a very nice tent we have a queen Mattress and frame in it with quite a bit of totes of clothes and other things that we need along with our daughters toys clothes and there is still room to spare and places to put things. Would love this thing to just take camping with the family... But for right now it works for shelter for us and keeps us as warm as you can In a tent. We have a buddy heater and it keeps the heat in surprisingly good. 100% would buy again and recommend!

The tent is fabulous but exactly at the fold of one the poles the bottom mat was damaged. Otherwise its excellent size , looks truly water resistant, easy to setup and looking forward to use one such for our first camping adventure coming summer.

This tent is awesome. Super quick and easy to set up — I had it standing in just a couple minutes with no stress. Inside, it’s way roomier than I expected, plenty of space for sleeping bags and gear without feeling squished. The best part? It’s really dark inside. Even when the sun is blazing outside, it stays nice and shaded, so sleeping in is no problem. Total game changer if you’re not an early riser. Packing it back up is just as easy — it actually fits back in the bag without a wrestling match. Overall, it’s convenient, comfortable, and makes camping so much easier. Definitely recommend!

Love this tent! The black out feature is seriously the best. Especially when it's cold out we have a heater and you close up everything it stays nice and toasty. Quality is great super easy to set up. We are a family of four and it works perfect for size. Great price.

I've used it about a month now and have been in three storms. The material and build quality is very good, the design is not. It's basically two tents in one with the full rainfly. Closed up it will not leak. The rainfly seams are taped, the inside shell no, they don't need to be. The floor quality is as good if not better than Ozark Trail and Coleman. They give you a floor patch, this company does not. I've had all three dark rests and I liked the Ozark Trail the best and this one second. The Ozark Trail with screen room is discontinued. :( Pros: Good material and workmanship Potential to be 100% dry with front flap down and secured. Looks good. Zippers are smooth and seem a good quality. Time will tell. Cons: I hate the windows. You have to roll them up on the outside. If you fall asleep and it starts raining you have to get up and go outside in the rain and close them. There is no partially open for ventilation. Either 100% open or 100% closed. I prefer a tent they open down from the inside. The inner shell has a screen and the rainfly has a screen so you're looking through two screens which is odd. Its almost like looking through plastic. In a rainstorm and everything closed up you have zero ventilation. Good weather and everything open, great ventilation. The two poles for the front porch are already rusting. In a rainstorm with the porch open rain hit the inner door, rolled down and come through the zipper. I had 2 cups of water come inside. So in a heavy rainstorm lower the front porch flap. Two of the pole buttons are sticking. Played with it 15 minutes. Just push the button and force the pole in and it'll go. Tip: Some complained poles won't extend setting it up and they won't unless you know the trick. I unhook the two outer clips up top. The trick is to hold the center up as high as you can and the poles slide out easy. Down low it will not. Something to do with the design the material holds it back?? So far I'm enjoying it. I think it would make a good winter tent since it closes up 100%. Taking it down and rolling it up is easy. Follow the directions included and no problem. The bag is plenty big enough, no fighting.

Great tent after you get it set up..I would like to see anyone set it up in 5 minutes however. Took me 5 minutes just to properly unroll it. The poles do not slide out very easy, helps if you raise the top end of pole up as far as you can while sliding the bottom end down. Still took some doing. Another reviewer said to unclip the 2 rings from the top of the poles which helped in the sliding but after tent is up you can't reach the clips to refasten so I had to get a stool for the very top ones. Probably if your 6' or so you can reclip without a stool. Also by myself I could not get the rainfly draped over the tent. 2 people would have no problem. I ended up tying a small rope to one of the window loops and pulling rainfly over then adjusting. I also marked with tape the front rainfly and also the front door of tent so you know what direction you are setting up so you don't have to turn tent or rainfly around after its up which is a pain but you can't really do this until its up so I had to reorient everything for the direction I wanted for front of tent the first time. Took me about 45 minutes or so to setup by myself the first time. 2 people would go much faster and I am sure I will be able to setup faster each time.... As far as the function of tent read other 5 star reviews which I agree with....
