The first one I got was defective but I the replacement works great. Safety features make a little difficult but considering this type of tool and how sharp the blades are, I get it. This thing is great, I trimmed up some small boxwood bushes and lantana plants. I planted some new plants that are to delicate to use a weed eater around yet, this is perfect for that too!

I'm giving this review with only having used this Grass and Hedge Trimmer twice. It did the Job and performed well in all of the above categories plus it was an affordable price. However, I did not give it 5 Stars because it is made in China! Most consumers would like to buy American but wage scale brings up the cost. China products are usually good and cost less because the average factory worker in China earns $3.60 and hour. However, they are for all intended purpose more of an enemy then and Allie!!

While this is small, it is perfect for weekly hedge trimming and difficult to reach overgrown grass (around pipes, wall/fence corners, etc.) recommended for small projects.

Impressed with quality and performance. Didnt have high expectations for low cost trimmer but not only it delivered it also impressed me. You can also turn the blade in 45' to the left or right. I trimmed my houses shrubbs and also trimmed some tree leaf about 60 yards and battery still had juice. Charging is quick. Good solution for your resedntial home
