Well no way to really know when you've added enuf water...TILL IT'S RUNNING ALL OVER YOUR FLOOR 😟 So only fill to edge of little windows. It may have to run for hours to cool the room

    • This Is A Great Evaporative Cooler
Last summer my wife and I found a place where we can store and use our RV year round. This spot came with a nice gazebo, golf cart, shed and propane grill. We plan on spending a lot more time with the RV this coming summer. And with summer comes the blazing hot sun with it. It's nice to want to sit outside and not melt due to the high heat and humidity. The Kegian Store evaporative air cooler will hopefully allow us to enjoy those hot humid days too. Thsi si a swamp style cooler. They work by using a fan to blow air over a wicking piece with water and or spraying a fine mist of water into the air stream to cool off the immediate area. They really work! We had these in the military and they can drastically reduce the temperature in an area making it a lot more comfortable. This cooler has a 5.3 gallon reservoir and came with four plastic boxes that can be filled with water and frozen so it can then be added to the water and cool things down even more. It also has three fan speeds. I look forward to using the air cooler this summer and enjoying the outdoors even more. ... show more

I have portable desktop evaporative air cooler, but it's so small, it doesn't cool down large area. This cooler works much better. Easy to operate and the weight is so light. This machine provides cool air but not real A/C cold air. It does work pretty surprisingly. Adding a bit more super cold ice packs works better. The unit is probably not the most appealing thing. This air cooler is amazing! It has three speeds and two modes to make the air feel softer and moister than other air conditioners. It has 110 degree oscillation, adjustable shutters, can easily fit in small spaces like under a table, and can be moved around with its wheels.
