I use this for my home office in an upstairs bedroom that naturally gets warmer than the rest of the house, but now is even worse with all the equipment I need to do my job (two computers, four monitors, two televisions, and lights everywhere). It's not a big room (10x12). This little unit does NOT cool down the entire room as if a proper window air conditioner would. But it does cool ME down, and frankly that's all I care about (the books on the bookcases don't need to be "cool"). Because the house is centrally air-conditioned, the humidity in the house is already low, otherwise this unit would not be as effective. But again, this little unit is just enough to take the edge off the heat in the room from all my equipment. ... show more

It worked great for a few hours; now it is randomly shutting off and on. I've researched and there's some info about the power cord but i am using the cord provided and there was no issue in the first few hours, i.e. this is something that broke somehow or is just so fragile that it was broken to begin with and just worked ok for a minute. I am so frustrated with people making money with the cheapest crap they can get away with, and for this we're destroying our planet. Hopefully this will all be over soon. ... show more

This little Portable AC unit is very efficient. As a postal worker who works in a small metal vehicle with no built in AC, this thing has saved my life in the area I live in that easily see's 100+ degree temperature during the summer. The list of pros and cons are below. Pros: -Size is small and compact and fits easily into small nooks and crannies -Noise level is low so it doesn't distract you or even wake you if you use it in a small room. -Blows out nice cold air with fresh cold water -Water level last about 1.5 to 2 hours during intense heat before needing to be refilled -Battery consumption is decent with portable Charges( about 8.5 to 9 hours for 40k MAH charger) -Fan speeds are decent. The low level you barely feel anything and the high level blows out enough to reach 5 ft. Cons: -Port to fill with water is small so adding anything but crushed ice and water to the unit wont work -In high temps the last 1/4 of the water will have heated up and caused the cool air to lose efficiency, but dumping out the cup and a half of water to add fresh cool water is easy enough. -Need to change the cardboard filter out regularly in order to avoid the moldy cardboard smell. -Unit drips if not on a stable surface ... show more

I’ve had it for a few months. Well tonight it all of a sudden stopped working. I plugged it up and it has water in it. It will not turn on. No instructions on how to reset it!

We bought two of these units for our game room since our new PCs tend to run a little warm because of the graphics cards, etc. These little space coolers are very nice and work well when the room can get a little stuffy. When the filter gets dry it has a strange smell, but that goes away as soon as more filtered water is added to the unit. I am happy with our purchase but just remember these things are not ice cold air conditioners. They keep you cool though. I really like it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this in Aug 2023, been using it every night since.. works great.. my wife complained that it had a funky smell.. I didn’t know anything about changing the cartridge, I’ve been getting sick lately, I just opened the top of it, and it was FULL OF MOLD!!! Holy smokes!!! They should have a cartridge included when you buy one of these, so you know….. I’ve had this thing blowing on my face every night, blowing mold into my lungs! ... show more

When I unboxed this today, it felt very lightweight. My first thought was “this is too lightweight to be any good.” I was wrong. Yes, it is lightweight, but it works a lot better than I ever expected. I live in a small space in a place with less than 30% humidity and high temperatures. At this moment, I have it sitting 5 ft away on medium speed and I’m chilled. I was skeptical at first but not only am I very happy with my purchase, I highly recommend it to anyone with a small bedroom or office space. It uses very little electricity, unlike larger, noisier room air conditioners. No leakage and it’s surprisingly quiet. We will see how it does on days that are over 100, but it feels like I’ll be comfy on those days too. ... show more

This product is not engineered to handle water. It leaks everywhere and is just overall poorly thought out. The reservoir leaks into the bottom and the back. The power cycle is also poorly done. Its overly complicated. I want to hit the button once and cycle power levels. Instead I get a proprietary system that's overly convoluted. It also barely cools. I noticed almost no difference. I have a high end PC in my office so it is very hot. There is a 1 degree Fahrenheit difference if that. There is so much wrong with this product. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. ... show more
