I have to say that this has been a blessing. It’s not labeled energy efficient, but it does have an energy cycle. So, it stops on its own once the clothes are dried. I was hesitant, but it’s been an excellent buy. FYI I add about ten cotton or polyester to dry and it takes about 20-30 min on high heat. Also, dries 2 pair of men jeans. Towels .. I add 3. Perfect size for 1-2 people.

I had never seen a "portable drier" before, though some deluxe campers we have been in have washer and driers installed. I did know they existed. I just have never looked for one. At our cabin, for years my wife did the buckets of water by the frost-free hydrant in the yard thing during warm weather. Cold weather, not so much washing. But, things don't tend to get as sweaty and dirty in winter. We'd hang clothes out to dry. That's sometimes inconvenient. We picked up a very compact washing machine a while back. We haven't used it very much, as we didn't have a good place to put it. But, that's changing as we are adding a shop outbuilding. That will also provide a place for this unit. I must say, I'm impressed with this Euhomy Portable Dryer. It's very compact and full featured. It's also extremely well made for the price point. I have not installed it yet, as we are still preparing the place for it. But, I did unpack it and put it through it's paces. It works quite well. I rarely crank the heat on our drier at home, preferring the warm setting. This one is fine in that area. It will get quite warm if set on high. But as it's 120V vs. 240V not blazing hot. The air, especially in winter, tends to get quite dry at our cabin. So, things will dry quickly on warm. The interior of the drier is stainless steel. I was surprised by that. The lint filter is inside and should be cleaned regularly. The controls are intuitive and the manual is quite acceptable. On "portability" I'm not so sure about that designation. It's moderately heavy. It takes my wife and I to move it around. It's definitely not a "throw in the car/truck" for a camping trip item. I'd call it a compact drier. That's what I was expecting anyway. The capacity is quite respectable and is fine for us both. We can also use it to warm up blankets for our little 3-1/2 pound Yorkie. She gets chilly in the winter and loves a toasty place to snuggle up. This is a great little drier. It's very reasonably priced for what you are getting. I see it has excellent reviews. I echo those sentiments. It definitely deserves the full five stars.

Works as described ,a little noisy but aren't all dryers ? Foot print is nice,doesn't take up a lot of space ,the specs are accurate so you can use them to see if it fits your space . No need for special outlet,works on your home outlet in the USA and just stick hose out the window or if you have a built in vent in your home for the hose. As for drying ,yes it dries the clothes perfectly fine, takes a little longer than a big public laundromat dryer ,but that is expected . At this price this is a bargain !

Superstorm Sandy back in 20212 destroyed my washing machine and gas dryer. The name brand replacement for the dryer stopped drying a month after the warrantee expired. Then another flood froze the motor, so it was entirely useless, so I would just hang up the wash to dry. Sometimes that took more than a day for things like flannel shirts. When I saw the Euhomy I grabbed it. I am a single person, and don't have many loads of wash. I attached a picture of the first load I did. Other items I just hung up to dry. The Euhomy is well built and looks nice. It was very easy to install, which includes attaching the vent pipe elbow connector. The vent tube is kind of thin, but presumably adequate for this unit. In any event, I used the already installed vent equipment. It also comes with mounting hardware if you want to attach it to the wall. I have it on a concrete floor, and the adjustable pads work well. It was fairly quiet running. There are four drying modes and they are indicated by the color of the bar on the display. First is "strong drying." This full power heat with a 2.5 hour running time. Second is "intelligent drying." This is the one I used. It is full power heating, and shuts down when the unit detects the items are dry. Third is "ECO drying." This just blows unheated air until the unit detects low humidity. I tried this, but after one hour the clothes were still damp so I decided this would take too long, and I switched to "intelligent drying." Fourth is "normal drying." This leaves some moisture for ironing. The instructions indicate that this will take at least 2 hours, and is recommended for small clothing or a small amount of clothing. Bottom line: I am very, very pleased with this item. It dried my clothing in a reasonable amount of time. I no longer have to worry that clothing won't be dry in time for me to wear it. If you're married with four kids I would think you need a full size dryer. But for me, a single person, this is perfect. I am very glad I have it.
