Update: I was contacted by customer service a few days after leaving my review. All I can say is they went above and beyond to get the issue with my unit fixed. I am changing my review from a 1 star to a 5 star. Great customer service. Will most likely shop again in the future with this company. Do not buy this unit unless you want a unit you have to babysit. I originally reached out to the seller about an issue I was having with the ac right out of the box. "After 30mins of run time it shows a p1 code. I shut the unit off and drain both plugs. I get almost half a cup of water from the bottom drain each time. Is this normal for this portable ac to work this way?" Their answer was yes this is completely normal. Mind you I have a older LG portable ac unit that I usually run in another room that I tried in my room and it had no issue with the water accumulation. I ran the LG unit for 3 days in my room before it gave a code to dump the water and the temperature has been around 97 - 101 those 3 days. The LG accumulated roughly 4.5 cups of water. I move the Euhomy ac unit to a smaller room in the house that is pretty much sealed off. Had the same issue but I dealt with it. I also try setting up a drain hose at the top drain of the unit but it will still throw the code but no water. After 2 weeks the unit started leaking water a few different places on the unit. I reached out to the seller about a return and I wasn't even offered a replacement or refund. Just please send some pictures of the leak. I would literally have to take apart the unit to show the leaks thus voiding the warranty. I would stay far from this unit ... show more

The blower is quite powerful, although my unit is only 8000. My room is small, so I doubt that I would have to use the "high" setting. There is considerable noise, but that is natural. After all, it is not a window unit which expels all the noise outward; in portable units, the noise remains inside your room. In any case... The instructions are terrible; be prepared to use your technical imagination for the setup. Also, look up some online demonstrations for other brands; the fundaments for all units are the same. All in all, the air blown is cold and mighty, so I would highly recommend it. I hope it lasts... ... show more

This thing is A BEAST. It is quite large but that is to be expected for 10,000 BTU’s. It can be slightly loud, but not much more than a window unit. I’ve only used it for a couple hours so far but it really can pump out the cold air. I’m planning on using it for a 600sqft attic area, so the more powerful the better. It comes with everything needed to get it up and running including foam to fit around the window piece. Will update later on in the summer when I get more hours of use. ... show more

I got this long time ago but I used it for over a month. So far, I really enjoy sleeping on the hot day. The setting up is easy and simply as other brand. The AC itself is kind of heavy, which may need two person to move around. The parts provided is adequate to do the job. I know to how set up one before so it only took me 15’ to set up. I like the auto features which may save energy overtime. The AC only turns on when temperatures of the room is higher than temperature set. I kept it at 78 F on hot day that makes me comfortable enough. Noise from the operation is on the high side, I would love if AC mode is quieter. Most noise is coming from compressor when AC mode is on. However, I still sleep normally. For the price, it is a bargain for small room. It tooks around 5’ to feel the temp drop for my master bedroom. I think it would serve the purpose for living room also. ... show more

The first one arrived damaged and non functional, after an email to the company they immediately sent a replacement (thanks Betty), The replacement works as designed and I can absolutely recommend buying from this dealer. The machine itself is a little louder than I would like but not to bad that I cant live with it, I use it in my bedroom which is 15x30 with a vaulted ceiling and it chills the place very well. ... show more

update 1/2022: from 1 star to 4.5 - To my surprise, Euhomy reached out recently and offered solutions to help fix the problem with our unit. Thank you for providing good customer service! Absolutely disappointed. We searched and searched for a portable a/c with the best reviews (which was hard, they all have poor reviews) because we didn't want a window a/c unit to ruin our mountain view (bad decision on our part now). In our searching, we found this unit to be the best reviewed and trusted what we read so we purchased. Shipping was no problem, worked great right out of the box, blasted cold air, noise is typical for something that's not central a/c. We've had this for 2.5 weeks and air is at best mild cool now. We adjusted settings to no success, it's all the same temperature air that's dispensed. Does not cool down our 850sqft apartment, let alone our small bedroom where we have it installed. We're very upset and wish we had gone with a window unit. Can't be returned. ... show more

I purchased this AC unit for my sons very small bedroom as my house in Maine does not have central AC. Upon opening the box I found the unit to be covered in grease/oil and the box itself to be rather saturated. I cleaned it off the best I could and set it up. The AC has been on for a few hours now, mind you the sun is down and it's nighttime, the room is still sitting at 81 degrees. It is not blowing cold air at all. If it doesn't start working soon I will be returning the unit. **Update**: Company reached out quickly and offered a refund or replacement due to the issues with shipping.
