  • Might be the best scale under $200
Style: P3
What's important is that this scale is consistent with weight measurements. It's also pretty accurate in weight. I measured a 25lb weight and it measured 24.9lbs. While I don't know how accurate the other health metrics are like fat % and muscle mass, I'm hoping they are consistent as I don't expect them to be very accurate as compared to a DEXA scan. I may do that as I think I get free yearly dexa scans so I can update on how accurate it is if I do that. Everything worked flawlessly out of the box including the sync with the app. The app is easy to use and specific to the scale and not an all-in-one app where other scales include their metrics with their companies app which supports smart homes and stuff like that. Simple, easy to use and it works. ... show more

  • Very Disappointed
Style: P2 Pro
The media could not be loaded. When I first bought this scale, I was honestly disappointed. I purchased it thinking my older scale was broken, since that one would fluctuate between 1–3 pounds from one day to the next. I assumed a new scale would give me more consistent results — but I started seeing the same kind of fluctuations and thought this new scale wasn’t functioning properly either. After doing some research, I learned that daily weight fluctuations of 1–3 pounds are completely normal. It turns out your body naturally holds or sheds weight based on things like hydration, sodium, food intake, and time of day. You can weigh up to 3 pounds more at night than you do the next morning — and that’s not the scale’s fault, it’s just how the body works. I also learned that it’s actually best to weigh yourself daily, but look at your weekly average, rather than reacting to every single day’s number. Once I understood that, I started appreciating what this new scale actually offers. To test it, I began comparing it to my old scale, and while there was a small variance, this new scale gave more consistent and reliable readings over time. What really impressed me is the detailed information it provides beyond just weight. It tracks things like body fat percentage, muscle mass, BMI, water weight, and more. I can see daily, weekly, and monthly summaries, which helps me track progress toward both my weight loss and muscle gain goals. The companion app is super easy to use, and I love that it allows multiple profiles for different family members, so we can all track our progress individually. Overall, I’m glad I stuck with this scale. It’s become a great tool for keeping me informed and motivated — I just needed to understand how to use it properly. This scale pack a lot into an affordable price. ... show more

  • Love that it is water-tolerant, reliable and dependable!
I was looking for a scale that would have a long life - even in a humid bathroom, and would sync with Garmin. This one fits the bill and more. I'm very happy with it. Below is my experience with it so far. But first, there is some misinformation in some of the other reviews, at least based on the current version of the app, so I'll take a moment to share current state. You can set whether you want the scale to show your weight in pounds, in kilograms, or in stones in the app. It remembers the setting. You can also use a button on the bottom of the scale to switch between unit types (when the app connects, its setting will override the button). You can turn off the electrical signals (used to measure bioimpedence for body fat and other body composition calculations the scale makes). You will want to do this if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker or other ICD. In the app, set the scale to Simple mode. It will then record your weight and will forego the other measurements. You can share it with others in the household, and it will automatically distinguish between users whose weight differs by around 6 pounds or more. If you are all similar weights, it won't distinguish and you have to help by manually switching the user in the app. Ok, on with the pros and cons. PROS It is precise. Multiple weigh-ins all in a row are the same, or in the case of body fat percentage, are very, very close. I keep my scale in the bathroom, so I love that this scale has an IPX5 rating and I don't have to worry if it happens to get sprayed with some water. My husband and I both use it and it automatically detects us and gives us each our own data on our phone. (Our weights are significantly different, and it does not confuse us.) It supports syncing with the Eufy app over wifi if your have it available where the scale is. This is a much more reliable communication method than Bluetooth (less spotty, less hiccups and associated delay), and it doesn't require you to have your phone near the scale in order to sync. It also supports syncing with the Eufy app using Bluetooth if or when you don't have wifi available. Any smart phone or tablet can connect this way. With somewhat convoluted app-to-app-to-app communication, I can in fact have my weight go automatically to Garmin Connect (eufy -> Fitbit -> MyFitnessPal -> Garmin Connect). I hope this doesn't break before eufy gives us something more direct. You can track body measurements in the app, and they provide a measuring tape with the scale. If you're serious about losing fat and keeping muscle, or about increasing muscle, this is much more important to track than overall weight. I love that they have this in the app! Weigh-ins are relatively quick. Turning it on is easy - just a quick partial step onto it and off again and then it's ready. The app is actively being changed and worked on. CONS Measuring bioimpedence is not a very accurate way to measure body fat percentage and body composition. This is true of any scale you stand on for the measurement, not just this one. The default setting in the app for it to remind you to weigh daily is awful and ill-advised. I quickly unchecked each day to just turn this off. A default of weekly is much more in-line. There is a lot of information in the app that seemed "hidden" to me. It's definitely worthwhile going to the FAQs on the Eufy site and skimming through the ones on app features. Note: The pro version adds a heart rate measurement and the ability to get the bioimpedence measure without making sure your feet are on the metal sensors. Neither of these was of interest to me, so I went with the less expensive version. ... show more
