Plus you cannot feel the movement of the other person tossing and turning due to isolated springs. Overall, offers great posture support while sleeping. What really stands out is that it’s toxin-free, made with organic materials, and doesn’t retain heat. It’s not only incredibly comfortable but also durable and looks good. This company says it all in their name. Not only are the products ethical but the owners are 100% ethical, honest, caring, and professional. Their customer service is top notch! This mattress is fantastic and high quality. I personally have some chronic pain issues with pressure points and needed something a bit softer than this mattress allowed, but the owner, Bryan, was fantastic at assisting me at fixing the issue. He recommended their Avocado plush topper and was very knowledgeable about the varying degrees of comfort and what would help someone with my condition. If you like a bit more firm (not too firm. Think 7 out of 10 on firmness scale. 10 being the most firm) then this mattress will be perfect for you. With the toppers you can make it between a 3-5 on the firmness scale depending on which option you choose. So if you're like me and need something more plush and soft, consider one of their softer mattresses or purchase a topper to go with it. But you cannot beat the quality and customer service. It makes me happy knowing I'm using all clean, safe materials and I'm now purchasing this bed for my son as well. I do not understand what the few negative reviews are about. This is 100% natural, with no polyurethane or synthetic materials. And there is no smell, at all. My nose is super sensitive and I spend a lot of time in bed due to health issues. So I would definitely notice if it had a smell to it. I cannot find anything negative to say about this mattress except that everybody's desired firmness is different so you should consider that carefully. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you're not sure what firmness you need, call the company and speak to them prior to purchasing. They will be super helpful and can save you a lot of time and money so you make the right choice from the beginning. Trust me, it's a costly pain to have to exchange or return so call this company first and let them help you make the best choice for your sleep needs. If you do that, you cannot go wrong with The Ethical Mattress Co!

This company is beyond amazing. The kindness and grace the owner Bryan has is amazing. Not only are the mattresses comfortable, and soft it is non toxic and the best materials for our baby. He has gone above and beyond in his customer service to make sure we got the best mattress for our son. Not only that, he sent a nice stuffed animal sheep in the box for my son. He loved it immediately, and we will remember Bryan and his company for life. The company owner is also a veteran and has great purpose and respect for every human. Definitely recommend and would buy again in an instant.

I paid extra for quicker shipping and it arrived to Hawai’i a whole day earlier than expected. Impressed ! I love that the components are nearly all organic. The firmness is perfect for my cosleeping needs. Safe and comfortable. And made in the USA ! The one thing is after a week of using it still has a smell … I thought there would be no off gassing ? Confused and concerned about the smell ? It doesn’t seem to be getting better either - will it ever go away ? What’s the smell ? Sigh.

Amazing customer service. The owner called me after I made my purchase to notify me they just started a sale and he was crediting my account for the sale amount. My daughters have been using the mattress for a week now. It’s very well made and comfortable (a little on the firm side, but the girls like it). Best of all, when we unpackaged the mattress it smelled good with no funky chemical odors.

I purchased this mattress in August of 24. I waited to write a review because I wanted to see what results I had switching from being a waterbed user for over 40 years to a solid mattress. From the very first night this mattress has been amazing. Solid comfort. No smell. Easy to open and put on bed frame. Fast delivery from company. One main reason I stayed with a waterbed all these years was because it had a heater and I could crawl into a warm bed at night. I have found this bed is so comfortable to sleep in and with cotton sheets and cotton blankets it is very warm and comforting to my body. If you are replacing your current mattress this mattress would be a great choice. Made right here in the USA. The reason I replaced the water bed is because I am 82 and was concerned about a leak and how I would handle it at my age. My waterbed mattress was still in good condition, but was 30 years old.
