Plus you cannot feel the movement of the other person tossing and turning due to isolated springs. Overall, offers great posture support while sleeping. What really stands out is that it’s toxin-free, made with organic materials, and doesn’t retain heat. It’s not only incredibly comfortable but also durable and looks good. Amazing customer service. The owner called me after I made my purchase to notify me they just started a sale and he was crediting my account for the sale amount. My daughters have been using the mattress for a week now. It’s very well made and comfortable (a little on the firm side, but the girls like it). Best of all, when we unpackaged the mattress it smelled good with no funky chemical odors.

This company says it all in their name. Not only are the products ethical but the owners are 100% ethical, honest, caring, and professional. Their customer service is top notch! This mattress is fantastic and high quality. I personally have some chronic pain issues with pressure points and needed something a bit softer than this mattress allowed, but the owner, Bryan, was fantastic at assisting me at fixing the issue. He recommended their Avocado plush topper and was very knowledgeable about the varying degrees of comfort and what would help someone with my condition. If you like a bit more firm (not too firm. Think 7 out of 10 on firmness scale. 10 being the most firm) then this mattress will be perfect for you. With the toppers you can make it between a 3-5 on the firmness scale depending on which option you choose. So if you're like me and need something more plush and soft, consider one of their softer mattresses or purchase a topper to go with it. But you cannot beat the quality and customer service. It makes me happy knowing I'm using all clean, safe materials and I'm now purchasing this bed for my son as well. I do not understand what the few negative reviews are about. This is 100% natural, with no polyurethane or synthetic materials. And there is no smell, at all. My nose is super sensitive and I spend a lot of time in bed due to health issues. So I would definitely notice if it had a smell to it. I cannot find anything negative to say about this mattress except that everybody's desired firmness is different so you should consider that carefully. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you're not sure what firmness you need, call the company and speak to them prior to purchasing. They will be super helpful and can save you a lot of time and money so you make the right choice from the beginning. Trust me, it's a costly pain to have to exchange or return so call this company first and let them help you make the best choice for your sleep needs. If you do that, you cannot go wrong with The Ethical Mattress Co!

Comfortable enough, no odor and seems well constructed. But there does not seem to be as much edge reinforcement as I was hoping—kind of roll off onto the floor. Not sure if we are keeping it. Update: talked to owner and wow! Amazing customer service. Refunded even though unboxed inflated and used for a week—AND they recommended the right mattress for my elderly mom.

Great purchase! No smells, not even faint smells! Ease opening from box, unrolling a lot of plastic, lay flat and cut open to inflate. I let them sit 1 full day and night before laying on them. My kids could sleep directly on the matresses. Bouncy but soft! Yes it's expensive but worth it for me. My kids would get bloody noses and I would get a sore throat and stuffy nose on "normal" roll out matresses, even after airing it out for a week. Health is important! I bought 2 twins and were 10inches thick in less than 1 hour. And 1 full size which took 1 day to reach 10inches. Do not regret this At All! I am so genuinely happy! Buy it! What a blessing to have organic/natural option!
