The Good:Accurate & Responsive: Tare function and unit switching (grams, ounces, etc.) work smoothly without lag. Easy Maintenance: The smooth stainless steel build wipes off instantly, which is ideal if you’re measuring sticky or messy ingredients during cooking.Solid Hardware: Compact footprint that fits neatly on the counter or in a cabinet drawer without taking up much space. Things to Keep in Mind:Quick Auto-Shutoff: The screen turns off/times out a bit too quickly on default settings. I've been using this food scale for a little while now, and I honestly love it. It's really easy to use, gives accurate measurements, and doesn't take up much space on my counter. I mainly use it for meal prep and tracking portions, and it's made everything so much easier. Worked great until it didn’t. A year and change into using this, the weight accuracy started to get completely unreliable. It would go back to working again randomly (I didn’t ever figure out a fix myself) within a day or two, so I kept it, but now 3 years in, it hasn’t weighed properly in over two weeks so I’m looking to replace it. Unfortunate because I otherwise loved it. It stays on long enough for me to gather ingredients and other stuff without having to worry it would turn off, which is especially cumbersome if you’re combining stuff in a bowl or plate. The surface is a nice glass that is easy to clean. Recharging is easy and the charge would last ages, I’m talking at least a month. I liked the variety of units you could measure by. The screen lights up well and the numbers are highly visible. All of this is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of less—it really was great while it was working. But I really cannot keep using it if it’s going to keep going wonky on me. I already messed up a loaf of bread because of it. Wasted expensive specialty flour too :(

Got this to accurately measure kibble grams for my doggo who needs to lose weight 🙁. Love it so far!! So easy to use (tare is so easy, this is my first food scale so this may or may not be the norm), just the right size for his storage containers (I prep meals the night before), nice compact size/weight. Makes prep a breeze and is MUCH more accurate than measuring cups. Stainless steel is easy to keep clean. Easy to read display . And it comes with batteries, so you can immediately start using it. Great buy!

Love this food scale. Use it for baking and soap making. Genuinely have had no issues with it since I got it. I charge it every 2-3 months for about a half hour and has never died on me. It’s accurate and has passed weight tests. Good deal for the price.

So this was smaller than my previous Basics kitchen food scale, but I believe it is lower profile and easier to store in a drawer. It weighs food by digital grams and ounces… as versatile as anyone would need to weigh food I guess.. The tare function is useful in cancelling the weight of the bowl or plate you are using to hold the food you are weighing, so you don’t have to factor in the total weight of whatever you need portioned. The numbers are somewhat easier to see than other scales IMHO, or at least the digital scales I used to own anyway. The quality feels higher as well. One note is that the two AAA batteries came already installed, and the best part was that it was separated by a plastic tab that you pull out. How is that for connectivity? What a great idea!
