full function for a little price

Stand needs two screws to work. One attaches the bendable rod to the base and one will attach to the scanner holster to rod. Mine only came with one screw. Can’t use stand…. Other than that scanner worked for what I needed it to. I am a teacher scanning in my classroom library books. Wish company would see this and send me the missing screw. Until then one star for lack of inspecting their product before shipment.

It works well and is a good value. It stays on all the time. I never have to press the trigger. I even switched it to a different computer. It reads bar codes well so I'm not going to complain. The instructions didn't help. As long as it's working and gets the job done I'm not going to send it back.

Device worked okay for scanning library books using Follett Destiny software. Some older barcodes were unscannable. Stopped working after about 6 months so I was able to return or get support. Given the price, maybe that's expected.

This scanner is use multiple time a day by students in my classroom. I have a check out system that students did not use to check out books and I just kept loosing books. Now I use the scanner and holder and all the kids want to check out their books. they love it and I love it.Now I know who has what books and where I can find them. I love the scanner and would recommend it to everyone for many uses. It is sturdy and can withstand a lot of uses.

The Esup Barcode Scanner is very easy to operate and setup. The scanner has a USB plug at the end of the cord that you just plug into your computer/laptop. It comes with a basic barcode manual for general settings of the barcodes you need and several languages to choose from. It exactly meets my needs for the products I'm scanning for inventory to be sold. Plug in, setup, and scan, it's that simple. I rated this product a 5 star in every category, except for tech support, because I prefer a manual in hand. The company does provide an online manual in PDF. The Price Is Right!
