  • Quality Filament at a Decent Price
Color: Olive Green
It came well wound and sealed, and prints well at recommended settings on my Ender 3 S1 Plus. I've burned a roll of the stuff over the last couple days and encountered no issues with the filament itself. It seems to even have decent moisture resistance as I left the spool on the holder for quite some time during idles and didn't encounter any moisture popping or weird bubbles on my prints. Color is classic ODG, gods favorite color, and is a decent match for the olive drab found in say some sun bleached old M81 BDUs or a slightly faded ammo can paint job. Finish is matte even on very smooth parts, perfect if you don't like the shiny plastic look. ... show more

  • Better than overture PETG
Color: Black
Stronger no stringing i threw the speeds to 500% of what i use for petg little to no issues. Only thing that the spool cracked slightly either during shipping or when i dried the filament. Ik you don't have to just wanted to get a baseline for my prints compared to PETG I will be switching from petg to this. ... show more

  • Nice consistent printing.
Color: Yellow
I first bought this because I was looking for a bright "lemon" yellow and I was not disappointed. It prints easy and smooth, and it's primary yellow filament I use now. I've had no issues with it at all.

  • Best overall on Amazon but it has two quirks:
I have this in tons of colors and it typically prints great at 215c with a 50c bed on my ender 3. HOWEVER and this is a BIG however, if this filament gets wet before it's packaged it's actually some of the worst stuff I've dealt with. I think the way their spools and packaging are designed is flawed. They put the desiccant in the middle of the spool and then vacuum pack it which essentially seals off the desiccant bag entirely from the filament itself. So if the filament absorbs any moisture before being packaged, it will remain wet forever and have plenty of time to permeate deep within the filament making it very hard to dry. So if you have a new roll of this that suddenly seems to under-extrude, be brittle and not adhere to the bed or itself, send it back immediately. Save yourself a few days of hassle trying to get it dry again as you'll fail without professional tools. HOWEVER (and this too is a BIG however) this stuff is otherwise some of the easiest printing and strongest material I've worked with. So good in fact that I bought a filament dryer just to make sure every batch I get prints the lovely way it does when dry. The last 'quirk' I found out about this is that it apparently really likes to have the nozzle a bit higher from the print bed than other filaments, I think it's thermal expansion might be higher than average. I was getting stringing and boogers on every print that I felt was acceptible until my extruder started skipping. I'm pretty meticulous about leveling the bed and there were no other symptoms but I increased the nozzle gap by a little over 2x - I took my printer paper, folded it in half and gapped it loose with no dragging just barely touching instead of CHEP's (youtube) advice with a little drag on a single ply. After that, this stuff doesn't string, doesn't under extrude and I can keep increasing speed without issues. So, lower your bed a bit more than normal and go at it. This stuff is wonderful. ... show more

  • Great product - Great color
Color: Yellow
A commendable product, well worth the price invested. The high-quality PLA and appealing color make it a satisfying purchase. I would not hesitate to buy this again

  • Best Figurine Filament
Color: Gray
Printed at 215C and 0.12mm layer height and wow this stuff is incredible. It just feels tough on my 2 inch mini. When cleaning the support material, the parts just flexed out of the way of my pliers and sprung right back. The higher melting point of this PLA+ also allowed me to get my lighter in small places to clean up and not soften thin sections. Completely worth the $25. ... show more

  • ESun PLA+ is my new standard for PLA filament
Color: Black
So im a hatchbox guy when it comes to PLA. They have excellent filament, great colors, and for 20 bucks a 1kg spool, you really just cant beat it. However, ive switched to printing a lot of PETG lately and love that. I went to ESun for my PETG, and it prints like a dream. But, i like options, and so i wanted more PLA and i was running low. Hatchbox is out of stock on EVERYTHING, and so i took a look at ESun. Their PETG is cash money, so their PLA should be great as well i assumed. Then i saw they have a PLA+ option. I love pla, but man i wish it was a bit better. Welp, ESun delivers. I doubt itll have the heat resistance that PETG does, but i know my filaments and i wont us PLA+ in a hot environment. Anyhow, im using a Original Prusa Mk3s and i loaded up a spool of the PLA+. Nothing but problems. At first. Lots of folks said use base PLA settings. NOPE. Dont do that. I looked around, some people print colder, some hotter, so its all over the place. One thing you gotta know when getting this stuff, is your going to have to mess with your temps. It was printing like garbage, stringy, blobs everywhere. I canceled the first two prints i did with this stuff about a minute in. It wasnt even done printing the brim. Yeah, that bad. So, i took my temps on my MK3s to first layer of 225, bed at 65. Second Layer and beyond i went to 220 nozzle 60 bed. Right now, im printing a yellow banana stand, and i have to say it looks AMAZING. These temps work for me, and i saved the profile since i couldnt find an ESUN profile. Again, tho, ive seen people print cooler. This is just my 3rd shot at temps and it looks good, so ill keep 225/220 - 65/60 unless i see a need to back it off a bit. ESUN, if your reading, one favor i have to ask. I love your products, but i really wish filament makers like yourselves would have on your website a part that just has Printer Profiles for your products. Maybe throw the link on the cards you put in the box with all the great information on them. You must do extensive testing, and this would take your product above and beyond anyone out there since NO manufacturer posts filament profiles on their site. And they are pretty universal. Make one for Slicer, one for cura, and youd prolly cover 90% of your user base. And wed love you for it. But yeah, if youre looking for a great spool of solid filament that prints great, ESun should be on your short list. Ill still get some hatchbox from time to time, if esun is out of stock lol. But for now, for PLA+ and PETG... im an esun guy. ... show more
