New formula is great. Does what it promises. It is much thinner and a bit tacky but then it goes away when it settles down, it does give you a blur affect when it settles/dries down and it definitely closes your pores and plumps your skin. It is not as drying as the original formula. The color is the same, although there’s just a slight very slight difference. ORIGINAL: Brighter masks color and not hydrating NEW: Brighter second skin looking and softer, hydrates and plumps. That’s the only difference. AS YOU CAN SEE IN PICS PICK A: My pores are open and I just applied one thin coat. Best place to test is the nose where the light hits the most and if it blends with your cheek tone, then it’s for you. PICK B: it has settled in and dried. Pores are closed, blur affect has kicked in. Skin feels hydrated. BEST PART IS THE FOUNDATION IS FLEXIBLE AND MOVES WITH YOUR SKIN, AS WELL IT DOES NOT SETTLE INTO WRINKLES or MRIONETTE LINES or AROUND SMILE MOUTH LINES or EYE WRINKLES. Truly stays in place and it doesn’t budge. Order your original shade you will notice a slight very slight difference, but it’s still the same good quality as far as pigmentation and in fact, although it is thinner, it is buildable and pigmented very well. Buy it you won’t regret it. It’s the best foundation. For reference, I am 60 years old, use 3W2 Cashew and have been using Estée Lauder for many, many years. Love the new formula! I use EL primer underneath and it stays on all day. The coverage is flawless. We had to leave for the airport at 4am for a LONG day of travel, so here’s what I did: I cleaned and prepped my skin really well, used a bit more moisturizer, and put on a full face of makeup at 10 pm. I then slept in our cozy recliner with a neck support pillow. Got up at 3, did my hair and finished packing and we were out door at 4. My face still looked great at 8 pm, and I am 72. ... show more

10/10. Been wearing for years. Full coverage. Builds well. Last all day. I’ve been wearing this for over a decade and just love it. If tried switching brands and consistently go back to this because it really is the best. One bottle lasts a long time so while it’s expensive, it is so worth it.

Great coverage and it stays on all day. Down side to it is that it’s very tacky and sticky if you do not put lots of finishing powder on. I did learn not to put moisturizer on before applying. It makes the makeup cake on your face.

I absolutely love this make up! It doesn’t settle into fine lines and you can build heavy coverage if you want. Goes on light, but very buildable. Very moisturizing no flakes all day but also is great in my T zone area.

I’ve used double wear since I was 17 (I’m 29) and the old formula was the best foundation I’ve ever used. It had amazing coverage without looking cakey, it didn’t transfer once set and it still looked relatively flawless by the end of the day. That being said, this new formula is nothing like the old one. First of all, it is much thinner which isn’t necessarily a bad thing because the coverage is still decent. However, it doesn’t set in place and will move around while doing my other makeup especially when blending other products placed on top of the foundation with a sponge. This formula also will not stick to the dryer parts of my face (around my nose) and ends up looking very cakey. This new formula is also not long wearing at all. By the end of the day the foundation looks patchy and cakey. I’m so sad because this used to be my favorite foundation but I won’t be buying the new formula again. I wish they would change it back to the original formula. ... show more
