I’ve tried a lot of mascaras over the years, but I always come back to tubing formulas because they give me what I want: long, defined lashes without smudging or flaking. This one from essence really impressed me. The application is smooth, the brush grabs every lash, and it builds easily without clumping. It gives great length while still looking natural, perfect for everyday wear but can be layered for more drama. It also dries quickly, so I don’t have to worry about smudges right after applying. What really seals the deal is how it wears throughout the day. Even in heat and humidity, it stays put. At night, removal is so easy: just warm water and a gentle pull, and the tubes slide right off with no raccoon eyes and no tugging. For the price, the performance rivals higher-end tubing mascaras I’ve tried. If you’re someone who loves tubing mascaras or has struggled with smudging in the past, this one is definitely worth trying.

I am in love! As a blonde with fair skin, it is hard to find a brown mascara that looks "natural but better." Everything is brown-black which to me is just black and still too harsh, especially since I don't do full face makeup. I have long eyelashes, they're just invisible without mascara, lol. I have never met a mascara that didn't smudge, flake, or burn my eyes and had given up on it completely for several years now. I'm not sure how I landed on this mascara out of the blue, but curiosity got me and its cheap with good reviews so I thought what the heck. OMG I am so glad I took a chance!!! It perfectly accentuates lashes with a natural brown shade, goes on smooth with no clumps, I only needed one coat, it stayed beautifully all day (doing housework and forgetting I had makeup on, also with watery allergy eyes, sneezing alot), not a single smudge or flake in sight!!! I ended up falling asleep in the livingroom watching tv, and when I woke up it just looked like I had never put any mascara on. No racoon eyes, no flakes, it just simply vanished! Not that I recommend going to bed without washing your face, but it happens, and that's how it turned out. I can only imagine that it washes off just as easily. My only worry is that every time I find a product that is my holy grail, they either quit making it or change the formula. I hope this one sticks around a good long while because it is PERFECTION!!!

It lengthens the lashes very well, and adds some volume. However, it doesn’t look brown at all once applied to the lashes (as pictured), which is a huge downside. It also smears easily, and it’s pretty hard to remove. Overall, it looks nice, but the color isn’t what I wanted, and it’s a pain to take off.

I suffer from sparse lashes due to chemotherapy, this definitely helped to lengthen and fill in my lashes. I did not experience product transfer, despite wearing it most of the day. I only applied a single but thorough coat, this gave me a natural yet polished look. The applicator is a little flimsy but works just fine, this is an affordable mascara for those that just need a little help in the lash department. I would purchase again.

Saw a random recommendation on YouTube and figured I'd try it because it's inexpensive and I've had good luck with tubing mascara. I was not a fan of Lash Princess so I didn't expect too much. It was a hot, rainy day today and I was going to use my waterproof mascara but the neck of the tube came off so I grabbed this one instead even though it's not a waterproof formula. Wow. This is a very good mascara AND it stayed put all day in the heat and humidity. It performed as well as my usual waterproof, it wasn't clumpy and it's a good, deep black. I think I have a new favorite mascara.

It’s tubing, it doesn’t clump, it doesn’t smudge, it lengthens AND volumizes. It doesn’t irritate my eyes or cause any hairs to fall out. It’s easy to wash off (not as easy as most tubing, but easy enough with an oil cleanser) It still makes my lashes fall if I use it by itself, but I have stick straight stubby Asian lashes that refuse to hold a curl. I use the Judydoll metal mascara as a primer of sorts and then go over the ends of my lashes with the Essence. I literally look like I’m wearing lash extensions or falsies (well as close to it as I can get with my natural lashes lol)
