This chair is huge! I love it and it completes our living room nicely. It’s very firm but it’s a good firm. Instructions were very simple to understand took me about an hour to put together. Very nice & helpful piece of furniture in small condos. I was able to put it together by myself and only walked away twice, lol. It's sturdy and easy to transition from the sleeper and back into the chair. Only thing is I wish it was a bit softer, but it is certainly NOT hard as a rock or anything like that. I originally bought this for my reading corner and thought I'd sit in it maybe 2 or 3 times a week. This is my go to study area for when I'm doing my college courses or reading for fun or honestly just need a nap. My kids love taking naps in this thing too! We recently purchased this 3 in 1 Sleeper Chair bed and it was a great decision and addition to our room. We needed something that didn't take up as much space as a traditional bed, but just as comfortable, and this is it. We did have some assembly issues, the holes in the frame were not lining up with the holes in the chair in order for all 4 screws (2 in the front and 2 in the back) to secure the chair to the frame. However, we contacted Esright and their customer service was exceptional. After understanding the issue, they immediately sent out a new chair and frame that we were able to line up and screw in. Esright's customer service and communication definitely made this experience worth it. With the convenience of the chair, the glide to turn it into a bed, and the comfort of the chair, we give it 5 stars and are happy with our purchase. ... show more

Design wise this is great, quality wise... it's cheap. I don't know how this would be comfortable to sleep on. It is very stiff and the foam padding is very thin. There will be a sinkhole in no time. Furthermore I don't know who thought it was a good idea to put stickers literally on the front facing side of the furniture, especially stickers that do not come off easily. I had to use a magic eraser to scrub them off and you can still slightly see where they were if you look close enough. I do love the design of this chair, it's nice to pull out the bottom half and the chair itself is spacious enough, but that's the only thing I like about it. I am very good usually about reading the reviews of things before I purchase them, for some reason I did not read them on this product. I should have I'm most likely would not have bought it. And another thing to keep in mind, it comes in two separate packages. We received one package that was only a few parts of the chair and then like 3 or 4 days later we got the other part of the package in the mail. So they didn't even come together. ... show more

It arrived FAST. 2 days early actually which was nice. One box had some damage but the product seemed ok. Assembly should have been easy. Just a handful of hex bolts with allen wrench included. Easy peasy for someone like me who has extensive experience putting together flat pack furniture. However the assembly was not easy for me. The threaded inserts where the bolts get screwed into were off by 1/16" making it really difficult to get all the bolts lined up. Before you ask, NO, no I did not tighten some of the bolts down hard before threading them all in. I was a good boy and tried to get them all threaded in part way before tightening. The problem was that either the insects were off by 1/16" or the metal frame was off byb1/16". Either way it was a wrestling match, and I ultimately won the battle. I am a six foot tall, 225 lb guy and I had to put all of my muscle and weight pressing down on the corner to get 3 of the bolts in. So make sure you are prepared for a potential battle. Other reviewers said that assembly was easy, so maybe I just got a bad unit. One minor annoyance is that the bolts and washers come coated in a lubricant/oil. It's probably to prevent the hardware from oxidizing, but it sucks to get greasy hands and then be expected to put your oily hands on your brand new upholstery. When in "chair mode" the seat is deeeeeeeep. It's ok I guess, but not super comfy for regular sitting. For my purposes it will be fine because it will go in my kid's room and my toddler and I plan to curl up for bedtime stories on this chair. There is enough room on the seat for both of us, and she can pull her legs up and get cozy. Lastly, I wish the ratcheting back has three settings, but I really wish it had one more that is a bit closer to vertical. Because the seat is sooooo deeeeeeeep the angled back feels really far back. When in "chase lounge mode" this seems pretty great. Good for reading and relaxing. I will have to get back to you about "bed mode" because I haven't slept on it yet. I expect it will be pretty good... especially compared to sleeping on the floor. As I mentioned above, I got this for my toddler's room, and the bed mode will be a massive upgrade from me sleeping on the floor next to her crib on those challenging nights when thunder, lightning, fireworks, etc make her too scared to sleep in her room alone. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My family loves this chair. It's big enough to sit in with one of my kids and it's great for when we have guests come and stay or if someone just wants a middle of the day nap. It's a bit firm, but in a good way and when paired with the matching pillows and a comfy blanket, it can become your own little paradise. The light gray is gorgeous! Love this chair! ... show more
