Good basic coverage. Has a depression where the Apple Pencil can sit to charge. Has raised buttons. Has a lip for minor screen protection on flat surfaces. The naked Apple Pencil charges just fine. HOWEVER, I like having a silicone sleeve for my pencil and when it’s on, the combined thickness of the case and pencil sleeve prevent the pencil from charging.... I should note that when I remove the iPad case, my Apple Pencil + its silicone sleeve charges just fine. It’s when I use both that charging the pencil becomes impossible. Not sure how to proceed. I use the iPad primarily for note taking and bought the case for protection against scratches and VERY minor bumps. I may cut out the depression entirely, which, in theory, should allow charging with the Apple Pencil sleeve on but I may also just return the case in favor of another. TL;DR USE OF THIS CASE WITH A SLEEVE FOR YOUR APPLE PENCIL DOES NOT ALLOW APPLE PENCIL TO CHARGE. UPDATE 08/04/2020: I cut out some of the case on the side but it did not work and I did not want to cut out the full side of the case (that would defeat the purpose of the case in the first place by leaving almost the entire right side unprotected). I have given up and I take off my apple pencil sleeve every time I have to charge the pencil. It sucks but I'd rather take the pencil cover off than the iPad cover. I wish the manufacturer made the apple pencil indentation EVEN THINNER....It's SO CLOSE to being able to charge...It's less than 1mm....

Very thin and light. Fits perfectly on 4th gen 2020, 12.9” Absolutely no drop protection, doesn't hold pencil but doesn't interfere with magnet either. Big thing as I see it, the silicon cover make it less slippery, reducing the risk of dropping $1200 ipad for only $15

This product was advertising that it is made for the new 2021 iPad pro. It is not. While it does almost fit, it does not fully. The cut outs do not line up for the speakers and some of the buttons are slightly off center. When I made the purchase it said new 2021 model, and the advert has since changed.. Very clearly was made for the 2020 not 2021 model The sides also slightly slip as its ever so slightly thicker than 2020 so the edges are not as properly snug as they could be. If all you want is a temp cover until you find a real one made for the 2021 model, it will do. But it's very obviously not made for it.

Super frustrating. It fits my 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 almost perfectly. The cut out for the camera is too big (to compensate for the 4th gen cam) but it’s not out of place looking looking. I’m guessing it’s material shrinkage during manufacturing or something like that. It fits but it doesn’t *fit* When it’s on, the lip over one side will be okay but the corresponding side will be a hair lower. You can notice it in the way that the port cutouts are off-center and how the plastic is angled away from the iPad at the corners. When you push, there is an obvious gap between the case and iPad. When I go to plug in my charger, I have to stretch the plastic case out of the way. The speaker holes are right up against the edge of the plastic. And all the while, I’m stupid because I’m pushing on the edges and trying to stretch the plastic. Putting a ton of pressure on my screen. Frustrating.

What I like about this case is that it’s lightweight, molds to the shape of my iPad, has an extremely comfortable grip and has what I describe as an “additive feel” when in my hands; by additive I mean because it so comfortable and light weight its hard to put down ...maybe it’s the silicone....Anyway I bought it because the Apple case, that cost a $100 plus dollars, designed for the iPad, with features such as a back stop, sleep mode ,key pad etc...,was bulky and just felt wrong. While it met my expectation for protecting my iPad; on many occasions I found myself taking the cover off to use my iPad. In stark contrast, the ESR case protects and enables optimum use of my device. What I dislike about the case is no back support for reading or watching TV but in light of its cost and the slim design; I’m willing to forgo and use the Apple case as a back stop (sorry Apple).

Great price under $20. Looks good, thin and light but has good (not excellent) protection. Because of the 4 speakers on the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 4th generation, and because of the Apple Pencil charging placement, overall the fit is good but not excellent. don’t know how they could have designed the case any differently, but it’s just what I was looking for. I have a Logitech K780 keyboard that has a groove that holds an iPad up, and the iPad still fits in the groove with the case.

The product is exactly as described and pictured. It fits the iPad Pro 12.9" 4th Gen perfectly without obstructing any ports, buttons or features. It's thin, lightweight and elegant looking. The only downside is that it won't offer much in the way of protection should you drop your device. It might be able to handle some (very) light bumps or drops but I honestly would not want to put it to the test. Personally, I quite like it thus far and feel it's adequate for light every-day use around the house. If you have kids, are intending to take your device on a trip, or are otherwise concerned about dropping your device, I recommend that you get something more substantial. But if instead you're looking for an attractive case that will offer some degree of protection without adding too much weight to your device then I highly recommend getting this.

I bought this clear case to go with the Nulaxy A5 Tablet Stand that I also purchased from Amazon. I thought it would be better to place my tablet on the stand with a case, because the stand is metal. I got a Logitech Slim Folio Keyboard case for my 12.9 tablet for Christmas and it is great, but sometimes I want to use the tablet in the vertical position and since I have a standalone keyboard, when I'm using the tablet stand, I just place the keyboard underneath the tablet and then I can use it in the vertical position.
